What I said was that Obama didn't single handedly destroy the economy (including the oil industry) like some reactionary conservatives (LIKE YOU) claim....Another liberal trying to claim that Barack Obama deserves some kind of credit for the increase in US oil production! This never gets old! The truth is that Obama did everything in his power to knee cap Big Oil but failed miserably. Production on lands Obama had no control over increased by huge amounts because of new fracking technology...something that the Obama Administration criticized and attempted to block.Obama didn't do much but preside over a 74% increase in oil production...but that was due to market reasons more so than any Obama policies.....which is usually the case for more presidents with regards to oil prices and etc...It's the very same policies that under the Obama Administration led to sharp decreases in oil production from land controlled by the Federal Government. Biden is coupling that with foreign policy that has already prompted the Saudis to lower their output. It's not a conspiracy...it's something that's being done in plain sight and with fanfare. We will have four dollar gas at the pump before the end of the summer.This isn't about politicians taking care of their buddies in Big Oil...this is about making the price of gas at the pump so expensive that electric cars make sense. You can't make that happen with two dollar a gallon gas but you can with four dollar a gallon gas. So that's what the left has planned for us.
