Eventually yes however during the initial phase of Operation Torch the Vichy French in North Africa who actually fought against us just about kicked our ass. It was General Juin who convinced his superior in North Africa Admiral Darlan to order the French troops to lay down their arms. That was when the fighting stopped and we were able to secure the heavily defended objectives denied to us by the French troops. Matter of fact it was Juin and the French forces in Italy that substantially attributed to the fall of the Gustav Line.

You're focused on the generic not the specifics. I specifically stated that "where the Vichy French resisted", I did not say all the Vichy French resisted. It was piecemeal. Focusing on the "we came, we saw, we kicked ass" propagandized BS doesn't teach the whole history, in fact it omits much of it.

On a battlefield I would not want to fight Israel or India in the Air or on the ground seeing they are consider very tough and so is Australia…

France like England live off their former greatness but let be clear they could really do much in today time, well that is my opinion and never fight the Japanese!

Look at the shoddy products from the Chinkies' sweatshops. Their army can't be much better. In the Korean War, they had 400,000 dead, more than we even had serving there.
