Would you say France is the second best military around or China. Maybe its Israel

My problem with the Chinese military is that their primary mission is to keep 1.5 billion Chinese under control

Their ability to project power beyond their borders is questionable

On PAPER they are powerful but how to use it well depends on the quality of the equipment and effective leadership.
