An ultrasound is and imaging device that uses HF sound waves to see inside the body.

Seems to me that opposing unlimited and unconstrained abortion at any time and for any reason or even no reason is not necessarily based on Christianity or on any religion. There are many unaffiliated Americans including atheists who believe that abortion is morally wrong. Polls and surveys suggest they are a minority on this issue but that does not make it morally defensible. Personally, I find it hypocritical that someone supports abortion rights and opposes the death penalty. Either you have a reverence for life in all cases or you don't.
