Zone1 When Is A Baby Considered Alive?

I've been saying when they get a heartbeat for years but this guy makes a valid point. Plants are alive and they don't have heartbeats. They're alive because they're growing. So I guess a fetus can be alive in that sense.

And when NASA searches for life on other planets, they don't look for heart beats

Some things to consider on abortion and all things Lefty.

How many men went to a clinic for an abortion?

They go on about women's "My body my choice", but I thought they believe men can get pregnant, so why no men on their protest banners with that slogan?

Why do they default back to established human biology when it comes to the abortion issue?

The bigger question here is where are the fathers' rights?

.

But technically, a plant NEVER has a heartbeat. Otherwise there might be a good point here.

I'm Catholic and most of us believe that life starts at the moment of conception.

I'd bet that you'll get a different answer, depending on who you're talking to. Some pro-abort would tell you life starts at birth, until they decided they want to have a child.

For now, I'll stick with the moment of conception, and as someone who has worked for a doctor who performed abortions, the guilt I carry around due to my participation of flushing something obviously human down the lab sink, I only pray that God has forgiven me.

As someone who has converted to Catholicism only a year ago, I know that technically God has forgiven me that sin, but the guilt still lingers.

.

I mostly agree, but might qualify that a little to say "implantation". A fertilized egg has some traveling to do, and has to implant, before a pregnancy is established. That's first.

Second, rather than focus on your sin, focus on the boundless nature of God's mercy and forgiveness. What seems doubtful or even impossible for you IS POSSIBLE with God. Not only possible, but He promised to forgive. And His promises never fail!

In Catholicism, a fetus becomes a human being at the moment of conception.

In Protestantism, a fetus becomes a human being at birth.

In Judaism, a fetus becomes a human being the day it graduates medical school.

Have a care for the lawyers geez ;)

Three Jewish mothers were sitting having tea when the subject of children came up.

The first Jewish mother beamed, "My daughter is a specialist doctor".

The second Jewish mother kvelled, "My son is a successful attorney".

The third Jewish mother hung her head and woefully whispered, "My son is a rabbi".

The first two Jewish mother shockingly exclaimed, "A RABBI?! What kind of job is that for a Jewish boy?!".

The voters in every state now get to decide. The very best most moral outcome. So therefore the issue has been solved. Either encourage nobody to have any kids or accept the ourcome.

The bigger question here is where are the fathers' rights?
Well, that comes under the debate of equality. Women want equal pay, equal representation in jobs, equal representation in the boardroom. Ask about equal rights to a foetus, "Pffft, get lost, my body". That's why Fathers for Justice exists.

It's all "We" unless it's abortion, then it's "Me"

* Life Began A Long Time Ago And Individual Citizens Are The Basis Of Constitutional Law *

I've been saying when they get a heartbeat for years but this guy makes a valid point. Plants are alive and they don't have heartbeats. They're alive because they're growing. So I guess a fetus can be alive in that sense.

A state is comprised of citizens on whose behalf interests of a state lay .

A citizen and its constitutional protections are instantiated concurrently through live birth .

Us constitution stipulates , " When does a state interest begin ? " and not " When does life begin ? " .

When Is A Baby Considered Alive?

That depends on your point of reference. There are many definitions for "alive."
  • Biological life.
  • Sociological life.
  • Viable life.
  • Medically/legally alive, etc.
Biologically speaking, a baby is "alive" the moment of conception.
Sociologically, the baby is alive when it begins to take on human form and characteristics.
Viabilically, the baby is alive as soon as it is mature enough to survive outside the mother (with or without medical intervention).
Medically/legally, the baby may not be considered alive though until it is physically born.

The bible said adam wasnt alive until he started breathing..
No breathing in the womb :dunno:
