What's your opinion on Women in Combat?

Israel, Sweden, Switzerland, and a few other countries, have no problem with women in combat.

There's a lot to be said about being confronted by a woman in camouflage with a Uzi tucked under her armpit or when she's pointing a full auto rifle at you.

I remember the first time we pulled into Haifa Israel. I got a bit lost (this was back in the early 80's), and saw a good looking woman who was wearing a duster style jacket. When I asked her for directions, she said she knew where I wanted to go and pointed towards the place. Her jacket fell open, and I saw a really nasty looking Uzi hanging from her shoulder under her jacket.

I got the directions and boogied. Didn't want to take a chance on pissing off a good looking woman with a machine pistol.

Considering the billets that are now open to women, it would be stupid not to require them to register for the draft when they turn 18, just like the men do.

And..............although we have had an all volunteer military for a few decades now, it wouldn't hurt to be prepared if necessary.

Torture would be a more likely scenario than rape. And no, the military doesn't make women get those shots to deploy. They have ways of getting them to shore stations or back to the USA if they need to leave because they are pregnant.

We fight 6th century savages. Any woman going into a combat zone MUST be fully aware that if captured, they WILL be raped. Rape is part of Islam and approved by Muhammad for Islamic fighters.

That alone should keep women out of combat areas.

Where did I say that?

What I meant is that women are a unutilized resource. If a male enemy combatant doesn't think she'll pull the trigger they'd best think again.

A trained female US marine is not as likely to be swayed by a pretty face, or body, that's coming towards her that could potentially blow itself up.
