He should be calling out China and India every day then. China is building dozens of coal burning plants this year. He is noticeably silent on this, and it has NOTHING to do with Trump. All he did was not punish American taxpayers with the horrendous Paris Accord. By the way, wasn't that supposed to solve it all?

As such, he is in no position to promote himself as an authority or able to take the higher moral ground on this issue.

China is a developing country. The US has pumped out far more pollution than China in its history, and per capita produces way more even now.

China is also developing a lot of ways of cleaning up the environment way earlier than the US ever did in its developmental history.

The second largest economy in the world that just recently placed a rover on Mars? Only one other country has done that. They are also looking at potentially colonizing the Moon with Russia.

You mean THAT "developing country"?

Come on maaaan...

Yes. The GDP per capita of China is between $10,000 and $12,000 a year, depending on where you look. Meaning that a poorer person in China is probably going to be earning like $5,000 a year.

The US on the other hand is between $63,000 and $68,000

China put stuff on Mars because they're a huge country that is developing and has decided it needs to go into showy things like going to Mars.

China has parts of the country that are moving towards first world status. Shanghai, Beijing, first and perhaps second tier cities have a level of life that is up there with the US's, but then it has lots of poor people, it doesn't have much of a welfare state, if China suffered right now, it'd have a much bigger impact because of its developing status. It's a second world country that is developing fast.

It has stolen a lot of stuff to get it to Mars, it's amazing what you can do with theft. The US did it too. Got to the Moon by taking stuff from the Soviets, the Nazis etc.

Your rationalization is hilarious.

How each country’s share of global CO2 emissions changes over time

The biggest emitters
Although industrialization came late to China, it now emits more CO2 than any other country. Excluding emissions from international aviation and shipping, China was responsible for more than 29% of global CO2 emissions in 2016.
Interactive maps and charts from the Our World in Data website depict countries’ shares of global CO2 emissions.

As the chart below shows, China’s share of global CO2 emissions was almost double that of the US, the next-largest polluter. In 2016 the US accounted for more than 15% of the total, and India almost 7%. Together, these three economies generate more than half of the world’s CO2 emissions.

China is planting more new forests than the rest of the world combined. They are deploying more solar and wind than any other nation. Yes, they are still building coal fired plants. Politically, they have a real problem of rising expectations even as they are getting hammered by a changing climate. In the meantime, our denialists are peddling lies and nonsense even as we experience huge forest fires and floods. As with Covid, they are willing to ignore reality to follow the pied pipers of "Conservatism".

Look at who is calling whom a suckup for China. Do you have a MAGA hat? Notice the tag on it as to where it was made? And where is the shit that Ivanka peddles made? And how much tariff is on it?

Interesting graph. Notice the little dip down right at the end of China's line? If They start going down anytime soon, they will have produced only a small percentage of the GHGs that we have. They have yet to produce as much as we were producing annually 100 years ago. Not excusing them, just point out your hypocrisy.

Well, those denying made made climate change are as bad as those saying man made climate change is a massive problem.

Really we should just be trying to live in balance with our world, the climate change agenda on both sides is irritating in that they often peddle lies.

You didn't understand the chart at all which unsurprising since it isn't what you think it is.

To help your catch up on the current emissions output which is different from that chart you don't understand:

China CO2 emissions
(Mt CO2)

1990 2005 2017
2,397.0486,263.06410,877.218

2017 percent of the emissions 1990-2017 emission increase change
29.34%353.8%

===

Unites States CO2 emissions
(Mt CO2)

1990 2005 2017
5,085.8975,971.5715,107.393

2017 percent of the emissions 1990-2017 emission increase change
13.77%0.4%

Ha ha, as you can see, China is now double America for yearly CO2 emissions, America has stabilized to near a flat trend since 1990.

You are not a smart man....

Once again I have to point out that I am a free thinking Independent, not a MAGA supporter, not a Republican.
