It's a learned ability.I can only think in the present and in front of me
True. I've done alright in a specific niche, but I found out what I'm good at and what I'm not. Wrestling paid for a college education and over a decade of coaching, so I can't complain.
Wrestling is the toughest by far. I played football through high school and Jr. College as a free safety, but my primary sport was amateur boxing from the novice to the senior division in the golden gloves.I made comments in the past saying I wished I wrestled but now I see it’s a brutal regiment of insane training
I was too uncoordinated and weak for football
I think wrestling would utterly kick my azz as they literally destroy you every practice with insane Cardio and live rolls and looks to grinding /
I assume football is similar is brutal warmups and regiment ?? Has anyone done both ??
Which is harder !?
But you don’t seem particularly knowledgeable….I have always been utterly obsessed with martial arts both striking and grappling.
They don't "only," but that is the focus. If your right handed can you have a lead left leg in wrestling!! In boxing I had my left leg forward as I did in tennis
Very odd ??
Also we need sport to combine judo moves in no -gi with wrestling shots
How can judo stop a leg attack if they only do upper body
WWE is redneck soap opera.OK.
Football is a skill set from many positions.
The trenches are similar to wrestling, but for very short periods.
Wrestling is finesse plus brute strength.
Skill players ONLY can still play FB, like a ton of DIVA WR's.
Wrestling has zero DIVAS, you put up or get manhandled.
Wrestling > Football, and I loved Playing FB.
UFC, Knockout, kicks to the head, and knee shots > everything.
WWE is staged, still tough, but staged and fixed outcomes.
Sorry WWE fans.
There are rules/laws since then to prevent what we used to do to make weight. Just as well, since a number of guys died from it while I was in school. In my high school (all boys, parochial, 1963-67), the wrestling team included the "toughest" kids in the school. Some were also football players, but the demand that you keep your weight down was antithetical to the FB culture, except for the heavyweights. In short, the wrestlers were crazy. The shit they did to make weight was literally insane - and I won't go into specifics, you know what I'm talking about.
The insane wrestling culture remains. Check it out...

Inside Victory Heights: Pitt’s $240M transformation built from the ground up
About 22 wrestlers carried it in. A 42-foot mat, weighing roughly 3,200 pounds, inching its way up the stairs and into Pitt’s new Victory Heights...www.post-gazette.com

that would make sense why wresling is harder, yep you just confirmed it for me wrestling is the harder one.football is tough but wrestling is even harder.Wrestling is the toughest by far. In football you get breaks in between plays in a live game or scrimmage, and even drills in practice, not the case in wrestling.
I was never a wrestler, but I worked out with a lot of wrestlers, and their conditioning routines were beyond brutal, but after a few months of working out with that group of guys,
I was in the best shape ever.
Oh, no. There is injury time if you’re bleeding or something, but no stoppage just because you’re tired. If you’re that gassed you’re probably going to get stuck anyway.…
Do they got time outs if you get tired
There are any number of ways to get injured. I’ve experienced most of them.More injuries from grind of practice or actual competition??

When the match is over and the ref raises your hand, there is nothing more fun.I am sorry but this don’t sound like fun anymore
