I've broken every finger, every toe, almost every rib, my collar bone, my orbital bone, my wrist, my nose dozens of times, I can't recall how many concussions (of course I can't recall), had one eye ripped open, and as a result of cutting hard weight for so many years I now get kidney stones like I'm growing them in a garden. Every morning when I wake up my knees, elbows, and shoulders are screaming (an effective way to get woken up). When I stand up it sounds like someone is making popcorn. There are any number of ways to get injured. I’ve experienced most of them.
I think you added an extra ‘J’ there by mistakeI did BJJ for awhile
And the smell in the wrestling gym. Ugh.I would agree.
I did both.
Two totally different disciplines.
From a sheer conditioning point of view, wrestling was more difficult.
I played wide receiver so even though there was running involved, there was time between plays. But with wrestling, once the match starts, it's game on and those few minutes are exhausting.
In mano y mano sports, there is definitely nothing better. When the match is over and the ref raises your hand, there is nothing more fun.
Wow! 7 years of amateur boxing competition and 58 fights, and I'm no where near as banged up.I've broken every finger, every toe, almost every rib, my collar bone, my orbital bone, my wrist, my nose dozens of times, I can't recall how many concussions (of course I can't recall), had one eye ripped open, and as a result of cutting hard weight for so many years I now get kidney stones like I'm growing them in a garden. Totally worth it.

How far?Wrestling, by far.
Believe it or not, that did influence me to leave the sport. And the smell in the wrestling gym. Ugh.

You were choking something, I’m sureI did train it

Started out at 121 pounds, but was not fully developed, and over time had to starve to get to that weight.Wow what weight class
What’s a uke?See how straight the uke's leg is? That's a no-no. A straight leg is a broken leg. Of course a uke's job is to cooperate with the tori, but it's worth noting.
