In this case, the reporter was sticking a camera directly in Salazar's face and the threat came after he repeated the action several times.

Ahhhh....I knew there had to be more to it.

Sounds like it was another instance of a paparazzi getting all up in an individual's personal space.

Compare that to the politician who had already left, then came running back to the victim on camera, pushing him back and shouting threats of throwing him off a high story ledge that would most likely result in the breaking of the victim's neck and/or back.

Having seen the video of the incident, I don't know what avenues for legal prosecution would apply for a member of Congress. Criminally, could go for some kind of verbal assault or intimidation, but that's pretty weak sauce. Whether Congress has a Code of Ethics that'd be more applicable I don't know. If it does, I'd pursue it that way instead of criminally or civilly.
