The fact that California continues to elect people like him, Pelosi and Schiff tells me that's a state that needs to secede from the union.

That's changing rapidly. Successful businesses are fleeing Cali as fast as they can. And that state already is running budget deficits so large, it would have to be bought at a fire sale.

It's heating up in the race for California governor. As is always happens this has gone from "right wing conspiracy talking point" to well...... reality and a legitimate concern now that it is being brought up by Tom Steyer who is running for California Governor as a Democrat.

There's all the usual counterpoints but really, at the end of the day this is about much more than if the letter of the law is being followed.

He's not a real Californian at this stage. His family, home and entire life is in Washington DC. He does the absolute minimum he believes he can get away with and still try to claim some sort of California residency.

At a minimum the argument becomes that Erik Swalwell can't afford to live in California but wants to be the governor of the state he helped fail. I'm not sure that's a winning position.

At what point are Democrats going to hold their own candidates to some sort of standards? The should at least have their families, lives and actual legitimate residency in the place they want to represent.

But since it, like NY and Ill, pretty well supports you back water MAGAts, it can never exceed the #1 since it's output goes against the overall USA output.

Trust me, I'm not the stupid one.
California is failing. It's had horrible leadership and terrible policies for decades now.
I read the other day that Cali has 375,000 regulations. It's a nightmare for businesses.
California has great weather and wonderful geography.
But the number of homeless, drug addicts, illegal aliens and other flotsam and jetsam, helped by the incredibly stupid leadership of people like Newsom and Harris and their Far Left mayors, including the highest taxes in the country, has turned the tide. It's not the Happy Place anymore. It's not DisneyWorld now. It's a broken down, failing state and unless or until Republicans take over the statehouse and the governor's office and begin to make corrections, California is diseased and dying.
