I would say that daily habits are the framework of our lives rather than rituals. One can begin the day with a sense of order by developing the habit of making their bed.

Daily habits are often done individually--our hermit existence to paint a picture. We also belong to a community/society and that is where ritual plays a part and brings us together. Both individuality and togetherness are vital in to this life.

If he could make it so people didn't get cancer, don't you think he could make it so that nobody dies at all? Why are you picking and choosing?
