what is the lefts plan to end the war in Ukraine ?

This thread has devolved into a circle-jerk-of-lightweight-morons posing as pseudo-intellectuals.

Ukraine is NOT asking for troops. They are asking for money. Something much cheaper than blood.

"Volodymyr Zelensky discusses U.S. President Donald Trump's pledge to end Russia's war in Ukraine. In a conversation with Bloomberg Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwaite, the Ukrainian president said that any peacekeeping mission in Ukraine should include U.S. military personnel. He also discussed the relationship between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping and the possibility of bringing the latter into peace talks. Zelensky spoke on the sidelines of the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. "

Half a trillion dollars and a few hundred thousand dead. How's that working for you?

Good thing that Churchill understood this.

Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last. All of them hope that the storm will pass before their turn comes to be devoured. But I fear greatly that the storm will not pass. It will rage and it will roar ever more loudly, ever more widely.

Sadly all of you now want to admire Chamberlain.

Inflation in Russia is UP WAYYYYYYYY up. Kursk is still occupied. Russia hasn't broken through. And there has already been one tank column that marched on Moscow. Attrition takes time.

As I explained. There are real, long-term consequences of giving in. History will judge harshly.

We'll see what happens in this spring and summer. I don't think it will be good for the Ukrainians.

See that word I made really big just for you? A peacekeeping mission is NOT a war.

You've got nothing then.
I doubt anyone of any consequences even gives a shit what you post here or what others say about some imaginary plan, developed with their imaginary insights

get a life

preferably one of your own

The US had French troops and ships to aid them during the revolutionary war.

Churchill had the English Channel between the UK and Nazi occupied France.

The Ukrainians have no foreign troops and no body of water to protect them.

Given a chance, you've come up with nothing.

Keep supplying the brave people of Ukraine with the means to fight.
Keep the economic sanctions on Russia until Putin's oligarch supporters get tired of his nonsense. They miss their European Hookers.

"Who Lost Ukraine" will be the rallying cry of Democrats along with "Where are my cheap eggs, Donny!"

And that gets you the gradual loss of more Ukrainian territory over the next 3-4 years.

If Ukraine lasts that long.

Again, Afghanistan or Vietnam had no ships to speak of either. What happened?

For the umpteenth time why is this different? If anything, Ukraine has more power and help then either of those countries.

Ukraine is not "Russian Vietnam". It's, in some sense, "Russian California"/"Russian Canada". Both in its importance for Russia's safety (and hence, in motivation to fight for it) and in ability to reintegrate it.

You have the floor. Lay out your plan here.

Trump got his idea of “great television”. Which is what he wanted.

He kissed Vladimir Putin’s ass on live global television.

And he and Vance ganged upon Zelinsky, trying to make him look weak.

Zelinsky did not take the bait, so Vance lectured him like a gangster over “respect”,and then Trump bellowed and effectively ended the mineral deal.

The effect of this is to drive a deep wedge between the United States and NATO. Pushing us apart and weakening both parties on the world stage.

This is what aputin has always dreamed of, and Trump is trying to give it to Moscow on a plate.

On the other hand, had we elected to fight for freedom and self determination in Ukraine, we would have all of NATO with us (as we have since 1949).

And the Russians would be up against the wall.

And we would be respected.
