I can't believe this guy and his team have taken us to war. Not only that, but their plans, or lack of any real plans that they all can agree on, keep falling by the wayside. Only the defenders and apologists of Trump seem to have their act together - and that act is to attack anyone and everybody who tries to question the seemingly lack of a Trump strategy here. Sure, we see the successes of US military tactical operations, but any clear strategy seems to be guided by Trump's mercurial nature -- his love of chaos.

It’s clear Trump’s plan to take control of the Strait of Hormuz wasn’t well thought out. Did Trump really expect the Iranian government to just cave to his demands?

On Monday afternoon, shortly after begging South Korea to join the war following the attack on its ship, the president announced that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Dan Caine will hold a press conference Tuesday morning

It's already begun, but I can't wait until the military shows these Iranian pleasure boats being sent to the bottom of the Persian Gulf.
I believe people miss an important fact. Seen it during the Vietnam War, Afghan/Iraq wars. People forget that nations under attack are defending tehir own land, families, culture. Invaders? What are they protecting and will they suffer the costs willingly? Over an extended period of time.

I believe they see themselves as being sent to the bottom of the Persian Gulf in defense of their freedoms and liberties. The troops. The military.

I imagine you'll be crying great big puppy tears when the videos start rolling in. Didn't you do that when Trump sent all of those drugs to the bottom of the Caribbean, Dainty?

Truth?

I don't care.

But any violation of international law(s)?

There goes trust and reputation of the ones admired USA - thank you DJT

Not sure what Trump's plan was, but closing Hormuz it is hitting China, Asia, Middle East & Africa very hard, while slightly boosting the US economy. The world may tip into economic recession, many will starve & die.

We will experience supply chain disruptions, but they will be hit much harder. So I don't believe Trump is very concerned about opening Hormuz anytime soon.

There is a large issue brewing with this closure. Iran & China are rapidly building a huge pipeline through Pakistan. If completed, it will supply China with Iran's oil, while keeping Hormuz closed punishing all the US oil producing mid-east allies who sell oil in petrol-dollars. They will be forced to sell in Chinese yuan. This will harm the US & it's dollar value.

This is why the US is holding talks with Iran inside Pakistan. Trump is trying to prevent Pakistan from allowing this pipeline. I guess we could bomb the pipeline when it gets completed.

Offering something of worth instead of crowing about something that is not applicable to Iran.

What's the point of thinking through a plan?

No battle plan survives first contact with the enemy.

All you need is a larger Trans Saudi pipeline....

Problem solved.

And you really think a Pakistani pipeline won't get terrorized ?

Actually people don't forget.

Do you see us invading Iran??? No.

We've lost 6 people to combat.

Chicago lost (as in they die, were killed) 32 people in April alone.

You really don't care what you say as long as you can detract so that your maintain (in you demented little mind) a path to something different.

You care nothing for the country. You want something different because someone with a crack pipe up his ass convinced you that was what we needed.

The things that this country stands for mean nothing to you.

Another attempt to appeal to something you really don't give a **** about.

You are as transparent as cellophane.

You sit with those who have the strategy to invoke things like this because "they matter to you".

I believe you loony Left Wing-nuts constantly miss an important fact.
When foreign nations, or their proxies, keep attacking and killing Americans, any where in this world, they have attacked our homeland as well, and there comes the time for payback, for retribution.

Iran started this "war" about 47 years ago and you Leftists are always been happy to let our enemies attack, injure, kill, destroy American citizens and property with no consequences.

Even now, we once again see disgusting slime like you defending the enemies of our nation and calling for more death, destruction, defeat upon America. We, USA, are defending our interests/investments, families, and culture and we intend to assist these enemies of ours attain the martyrdom they desire to gain passage to their post-life Paradise.

Another important fact (there are many, but I haven't time to cover all at the moment) is that we are focusing our attacks upon the leadership regime and it minions, NOT upon the people of Iran. Once we remove the war making theocratic regime that has made Iran a pariah to the world, and replaced it with a more civil and peaceful non-Jihadist regime, our job will be done.
