What if we had a Libertarian led government?

Libertarians don't Believe in ALL Government or Programs to be gone.

We just realize there are a lot of Programs out there that do more harm than good and are wasting Tax Payer money.

There wouldn't be a complete end of all entitlement programs over night. You can't simply take away Social Security from those who have paid into it their whole lives and are now dependent on it. However, you can shore up those programs by changing our militaristic foreign policy to a non-interventionist foreign policy and diverting those funds. Then those who are dependent on those programs can still use them, and those who are not can then begin to keep more of their own money and make their own plans for their future.

Still stuck on that? Regardless, were the Libertarian Party to miraculously get a majority in both the House and Senate and win the Presidency I doubt nukes would become legal to obtain.

Agreed. It would be a friggin mess. The entitlement generation is huge. You take that away and they'd revolt. Even our economic systems rely on entitlement programs. Most people can't handle freedom. The best we can hope for is for our government to pay off our debt and try to wean people off government assistance. Obviously, that'll never happen. Meanwhile, the true freedom lovers will continue doing what they've been doing: move their wealth offshore in preparation for the fall of the US. The US will NEVER pay off the debt, ever. We're too far gone.
