It means the people who devised it are not computer scientists/engineers. If they were they would have called it Zone 0 because in our Arabic numeral system, 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9, zero is the first number.

Zone 1 is where black racists are encouraged to hate white folks and whites are punished for reciprocating in kind.

Those rules go every way. Not one way. And "reciprocating in kind" suggests that you dont KNOW what the rules are. "In Kind" when applied to personal flaming WITHOUT TOPICAL CONTENT is illegal. EVEN IN Zone 2 forums like Politics and Current Events.

Doesn't ever matter -- "who did it first".

You must have missed the "Zone Cheat Sheet" which is a overview SUMMARY of the discussion rules for all 3 zones. Dont' know HOW you missed it. It's the 3rd (or so) post in the Posting Guidelines.

Safe zones are a new addition to the rules. Remember that governments can only do one thing, which is to govern. New rules, more of them. Keep watching, and you will see even more new rules.

Again - civil discussion is quite combative if done right. You just cant make it PERSONAL. It's not anything CLOSE to a "safe zone".
