I’m not clear on why the Admins found it necessary to censor off-color language.

Does it make USMB a “better” forum?

I can’t imagine it as being repressive. I mean, their Board so their rules. If I have some all consuming desire to drop an eff bomb, maybe I can use a different board.

I do see the use of an occasional profanity as “seasoning.” But if I have to contain my enthusiasm, I guess I can get over it.

Open us this forum on Reddit. Call it USMB uncensored or Politics uncensored. It is sad that this forum has been downgraded. I've been on forums since the 1990 BBS and Listserv days. Hundreds of them over the decades. Point is, I know my forums.

They must have got a bug up their ass here. Really sad. This was the best political forum of its type. It was not perfect, but still the best for freedom. Well, maybe they are going to sell it and want it cleaned up. That was how Tumblr was. I lost all my websites there once they wanted to go mainstream. They deleted everything of mine.

If you do make a Reddit, make sure people can post images. Goddam...I've got great ones! But I could never use them here or anywhere on your garden variety online forums. This forum could make a separate section for uncensored posts. One half could be for pussys that can't take the heat and need a safe space. The other half can be uncensored. That is my suggestion to make everyone happy.

Anyway...this is a good wakeup call for you that life can change on a dime and two is one and one is none. (We had one good forum but have none now.)
