They both used their religious belief to avoid military service...Romney four times.
When Whoopie Goldberg ask Mitts wife an idiotic question in so many words on "the view", I immediately thought of Muhamid Ali also, where as in Whoopie's idiotic uneducated mind, she would defend the likes of a Muhamid Ali whom (yes) used his religion to not go to war back when he done that, but she will go political on Romney's wife as she did just to make Barack Obama gain a supposed point on the matter, in which she was trying to gain politically for him by such a set up and/or attack.

The next hole in her argument/idiocy was one in which she didnot have enough sense to think before inserting foot into her mouth, and that was that Barack never did serve in the U.S. military at all either, but the nation never held that against him, because that's not what Americans soldiers or vets ever do, just as they never will and/or don't require this out of everyone in America. They know that it takes a certain type of individual to be a soldier or military personel, and they know that everyone is never cut from the same cookie cutter, and so they donot fault a person who is not a soldier type of character or person in their life, and yet is instead a people or person's whom can be successful in America for them back here, who is under the protections of the soldier that is out in the field paving the way for such a people or person's to be safe and free back here in America. They do this for America and Americans so that they can be all that they can be as a free people/ person's in America, and in some cases around the world, in which ((the Soldiers)) proudly give or have given their lives for, in order that all Americans can continue to be free as they live their lives freely in America for years and years to come.

Then Whoopie added in her uneducated vile speak, "what would Romney say to the families whose sons and daughters are coming home in "BAGS"? What Whoopie do you mean by "BAG'S" I would have said, and I would have said this because I had never heard the term "BAG'S" when reffering to returning soldiers who had given the ultimate price for our freedom around the world, so I would have said immedaitely to Whoopie, "if you don't mind", lets use a more formal speak when reffering to the soldiers that are coming back to America as heroes (as they had paid the ultimate price for our freedoms), by stopping with the uneducated speak as a starter, and then reffering to them always as returning home as our Heroes whether they be alive or deceased in regards to our freedoms instead.

People need to get over this view show, because it is pure poison in America, just like NPR, MSNBC and other liberal think tanks that are now in America, whom have been undermining her/America without strong rebuke as it should be rebuked by all when hear or see this kind of thing.

Expect that's not a poll of the military but a poll of Mil Times readers. It's no more representative of the military vote than this is...

Money talks– military cash goes to Obama

President Barack Obama's campaign has received almost double the amount of military donations that Mitt Romney's campaign has, according to data collected by a research group that tracks money and lobbying in U.S. politics.

The answer to the inane questions like this is, Romney served as much time as Obama and Clinton combined.

Romney protested for the draft, can we please have a link to back that bit of information?

That's where the similarities end. Ali was against the war and against the draft.

Willard protested FOR the draft and then went on to avoid it.

It matters not about these things, because soldiers don't expect all to become soldiers nor for them to want all others to become soldiers and/or men and women that are fit for war. They have to be fighting for someone back here right ? We all can't go to war, and it is not nor has it ever been expected for us to until the draft, but even this was selective as it took place. There were those who were up and coming managers of the American society, and it was that they were not expected to go, and to do the groundpounding, while a handfull of whom was back here minding the store? The reason for the draft was that their became many in America whom were not enlisting anymore into the military during a period of peace time in America, and this after the great wars that had killed so many Americans before, so America was not to excited to go and be killed by the hundreds of thousands again, so many didn't enlist, and therefore avoided the military like the plague. This caused the upopular till this day "draft", in which many got caught up in, but didnot want to get caught up in, but had to fill the void to achieve the security goals in which seemed important to American war strategist at the time.

The draft was always extremely unpopular amongst liberals, but now they have the nerve to use it as a weapon or the want to now use it in a political way against another for whom they hate for political reasons ? Ohhhh the irony is just dripping with bias hypocrisy amongst the liberals and their spin machines. Yes give us a link to back up your claims that Romney was for the draft, but then avoided it please..

WASHINGTON (CBSDC) — A recent military poll finds that active and reserve troops overwhelmingly support Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney over President Barack Obama leading up to next month’s election.

The poll conducted by the Military Times showed that among the 3,100 people surveyed, 66 percent support Romney compared to 26 percent for Obama.

Surprisingly, most of the military members polled cited the economy for backing Romney and not national security.

And if you go to the poll site itself, it will tell you what I just said...

This population is older and more senior than the military population at large, but it is representative of the professional core of the all-volunteer force.

Older and more senior eh, and so the hopes is by the liberals, is to prey upon the younger and less educated in the force, for whom are more subjected to all the liberal woes that are out in society today ? Same as going after the youth in American colleges and such ? Otherwsie go after the cubs who have been seperated from their parents, and are because of this easily influenced in their temporary weakness... Oh I get it now!
