I choose which ever candidate is going to bring a certain amount of opposition to the left. At the moment, there are none, that have a chance of winning. The party that's supposed to, the GOP, doesn't. So why TF not call them out for lying about how they're going to stop the left, when they're only helping them?

If they're both left leaning, what difference does it make which one wins? I'd much rather have a left leaning democrat in office than a left leaning Republican. For 2 very simple reasons.

1. We know what the democrat is going to do. Usually all wrong. That gives democrat voters a reason to look for a better candidate.
2. A left leaning Republican perpetuates the "lesser of two evils" propaganda. Lying and saying they're going to stop the left and bring actual conservatism back to the GOP, is still just as wrong as the democrat. Except it's based on lies.

Trump lost because he and the dem-lite GOP didn't do what they said they were going to do. Battle and defeat the left.
There were Trump supporters caught cheating. Both sides cheated.

None the less, Trump and the other RINO's, if they'd have been more conservative, the left couldn't have cheated enough to win. FFS, he only vetoed 1 spending bill in 4 years. Signed 12 CR and 3 omnibus bills.
That's not what they were elected to do.
