Zone1 Well regulated militia

And as history has shown, became the NG and an ipso facto branch of the US army.
Wrong. The National Guard was created in 1903 as a way to get around the Congressional controls that kept the Army small. It federalized the current State militias, which were classified as "Organized Militia" under the control of their various governors.

Had nothing to do with the "Unorganized Militia".

Even the Defense Act of 1916 only dealt with turning the State Militias into federal units.

The National Guard, as of 1916 IS a part of the US Army.

The Regular Army (called the Continental Army) was created in 1775. It was supported by the militia
Yes and was the people who defended their property and towns.
When it hit the fan, they basically became a state armed force.

Had nothing to do with the "Unorganized Militia".
Who said anything about unorganized?

They remnants of the evolving Continental army?

So where's the well regulated militia today?

So where's the well regulated militia today?
Anywhere a group of people get together with weapons that are in good working order.

That's all that phrase means. Has nothing to do with laws.

The term "Well Regulated" is found on numerous clocks that were built during the era.

You think there were laws governing the usage of clocks?

No, you refuse to accept the reality of how this all came to be.

So we are all militia, says who?

Call up citizens......under what law?

Do you chose not to be a citizen?

A citizen would stand and fight to protect the homeland if it's invaded.

Which is why signing up for selective service and the right to vote are in my OP.

Already told you legal interpretations addressing 'well regulated militia' have been interpreted at SCOTUS.

This is a clean debate forum and if you want to have a clean debate, you should be well versed in what you are attempting to argue without demands to prove this or that.

Says the Militia Act of 1792.

So you can't address my question?

I did address the question. Reread the OP and the requirements I'm placing on the government to have a "well regulated militia". Otherwise my 2nd Amendment rights are being infringed upon by any gun law that restricts me from owning what civil agencies and organizations are allowed to have and that any law that requires my getting a license, training, or anything else to own or purchase a firearm is a tax on my rights.

That last point happens to be against the law at any level of government because it's a tax on my rights, otherwise having voter ID, a voting fee at the ballet booth, and anything else isn't against the law either.
