And certain provisions were set to expire in 5 years and others in 10 years. What were the Iranians going to expect in return for compliance then? They fund terrorism around the world. Allowing them to hold their nuclear program over our heads in exchange for money or other concessions that will help fund or expand terrorism around the world is not the answer. Taking out their nuclear sites without any concessions seems to be the most sensible approach.

Moreover, each quarter since January 2016, the IAEA has reported that it still has not been able to determine that Iran has no undeclared nuclear facilities and materials and thus cannot conclude that Iran’s nuclear program is peaceful.

Not being able to determine is a logical conclusion. There's no way to actually determine anything like Iran having no undeclared facilities with certainty unless you invade and occupy the entire country and interrogate the Iranians. What is conclusive is that in order to enrich Uranium beyond civilian usage and up to 90% you need a very large nuclear facility. The IAEA monitors all those facilities and they met all their current guidelines up until 2018 according the reports on their website. Building one or more in secret, under the IAEA's noses, and underground or in another mountain is extremely unlikely, and completely unnecessary now that Trump ripped up the Iran nuclear deal. Iran can simply enrich all they want at their current nuclear facilities

I was referring specifically to their nuclear facilities. A military base or site isn't equipped to enrich uranium, and they certainly can't detonate a bomb for testing without anyone noticing.
