We all have heard of the Mad Cow Disease which only took the lives of around 200 people before it was somewhat brought under control. Likewise the Chronic Wasting Disease(CWD) that infects members of family Cervidae(deer, elk & moose) is well known, but has NOT been brought under control. CWD, once thought to be nontransferable to humans that eat Cervid meat "MAY" NOT be quite as nontransferable as once thought to be. CWD is a biological entity but not a living biological(difficult to explain) entity meaning that @ current CWD CANNOT be treated & that's the reason it is ALWAYS 100% fatal. CWD appears to be like the blind man's bluff, one can't fight what one cannot see. With 45+ U.S. states & 6 Canadian provinces affected by CWD it looks like another food source may be on it's way out the door. Just be aware that CWD is out there & spreading like a wildfire so remain aware of any updates that pertain to CWD. The vid below illustrates how the disease spreds.

Chronic Wasting Disease is a prerequisite to having your blue check mark on X, formerly twitter, these days.

The human version is called Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease and it essentially has the same cause as that as seen in elk and deer--misfolded proteins damaging the brain.

Finally I see someone talking about this. Eventually it will jump to humans, and we'll have a real problem on our hands.
