I proved you are wrong. I asked you to show the tax breaks for the rich that you say are not going away, and you can't provide one single example.

All you have left is deflection, which is how you lefties always handle losing.

Cry harder next time. :itsok:

You could not show that I was wrong. Here is some more.

Not much of an accomplishment, that clown has never been right……ever, on any topic.

This is the problem when your government continues to over spend and few GOP even have the courage to say no, or why, how . You think you can just raise the money through tariffs alone? Good luck raising $2T a year through tariffs. This over spending will sink Trumps second term I'm afraid.
ALL should pay there fair share.

ALL should pay there fair share.
We are taxed on everything already.

Income tax.
Gas tax.
Sales tax
Property tax.
Licenses and fees.

Every tax on big business is passed on to the price of the product.

We have A SPENDING PROBLEM NOT A TAX PROBLEM

So tell me, is there a difference in your mind between these two statements;

". . . . there were, after all, rumors."

"Bannon allegedly told a NYU academic"

Critical thinking, not yoar strong suit, eh?
Critical thinking is my strong suit. That’s why I don’t believe unsourced leftwing media stories.

None of the board Dimwingers can define a fair share.

Weird.

None of the board Dimwingers can define a fair share.

Weird.

I am NOT a DIMWINGER, but I will define for them a FAIRSHARE.......as far as they believe and see it---------------> ANY amount of money that you/I/we have to pay out of our pockets, so they can have whatever they want for free! It is exactly why the bulk of far Leftists is younger than 40. They have less to lose to massive confiscation of wealth, while much more to gain to redistribution of that wealth after being confiscated!

The wealthy should pay a high rate because they benefit the most from public services.
So something like 30% flat tax rate seems fair.

You can use the same 30% flat tax rate on the poor as long as you give them a realistically big, flat, personal deduction like $25k, to cover the cost of doing business, like rent, food, clothing, gas, etc.
Businesses don't pay tax, the people pay the tax. Say you want an extra few million tax dollars out of Bill Gates, and Bill Gates is essentially Microsoft. Do you think he'll take the hit? What will happen to your subscription for Xbox Live, Microsoft licences etc..? They'll go up. So tax Microsoft and tax Bill Gates as much as you want, it'll just come out of the customer's wallet for Gates to cover his tax.

Whoa. Holy crap. I'm not surprised by much any more, but this made me do a double-take. STEVE BANNON said this.

“I’m for a dramatic increase in corporate taxes. We have to increase taxes on the wealthy. For getting our guys’s taxes cut, we’ve got to cut spending, which they’re gonna resist. Where does the tax revenue come from? Corporations and the wealthy,” Bannon said during an interview with Semafor that was published Friday.

“And when they start squealing, we have a conversation,” the conservative media personality added. “We’re all partners in this, everybody’s going to take a little pain, but the working people are going to take less pain than you guys.”

On the campaign trail, Trump, Bannon’s former boss, said he wants to extend many provisions in his 2017 tax legislation, his signature economic achievement during his first White House term. He also vowed to slash taxes on tips and Social Security. Trump has also shown support for dropping the corporate income tax rate to 15 percent.

Personally, I'm for adding perhaps four new higher brackets on the top end. So yeah, I agree. On corporate taxes, we need to be careful and remain competitive globally, but I'm for establishing a Minimum Effective Tax Rate of maybe 10%, so that we don't have huge companies paying zero, like Amazon.

Thoughts?
