He said that to Peter, called him Satan, the same dude who denied that he even knew Jesus? But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Note that God doubled down on the curse of difficult or painful childbirth to Eve directly.
Devils Music? Don't be silly. Whenever a person sees devils everywhere, they are already in hell.hobelim, you should stop listening to the devil's music.
So, you believe in an invisible, spirit being called God, but not other invisible spirit beings called demons? Whyzat? He said that to Peter, called him Satan, the same dude who denied that he even knew Jesus?
Whats your point? Was Jesus speaking to an invisible entity or directly to Peter?
What is the talking serpent, Satan, the enemy of mankind, if not a human archetype who tries to dissuade people from their faith in and dedication to God, just like Peter did to Jesus?
A ghost? Grow up man, take responsibility for perpetuating the perversions that were planted in and are thriving in your own head by real people, metaphorically described as devils, or Satan.
Your brain has become an incubator for demons seeds planted by false prophets, that bear the forbidden fruit which you attempt to poison others with... Do you really think that God is an idiot?
What a dope.
You brought it up.Devils Music?

Historians aren't in agreement concerning the appearance of the Sumerians. Some have them later than 4000 B.C.Could be. By the time Adam and Eve entered the picture Sumer had agriculture, irrigation, a written language and sailboats.
The nasty tenor of your posts disqualifies them from serious consideration. He said that to Peter, called him Satan, the same dude who denied that he even knew Jesus?

Let's pretend for a moment that the story is a metaphor. You do know that the story of Adam and Eve is not a historical document. Don't you?
I said that Satan is not invisible except to the blind. I never said that I believe in an invisible God.So, you believe in an invisible, spirit being called God, but not other invisible spirit beings called demons? Whyzat?
Let's pretend for a moment that the story is a metaphor.
You still have to understand the meaning of the metaphor.
To do that you must study the story as if it was a real event.
That is the dumbest thing I ever heard. Don't you sing Gods praises? Not in church? Never in the car? Are maudlin songs about Jesus inspired by Lucifer too? What a phony piece of shit you areYou brought it up.
Most music is inspired by Lucifer/Satan.

You should join the Taliban. Their numbers are dwindling. They sure can use another idiot.....
You need to get together with Breezewood. You have a lot in common; you both have the real skinny. Why not publish a book about it. You could title it "The Truth According to hobelim and Breezewood."If you can't decipher the complicated metaphors, expressions, or vernacular of ancient nomads like talking serpents, rising from the dead, heaven and hell, or demonic possession you will never know what actually happened then much less what is actually happening now. Smarten up!
You don't want to be "left behind" desperately clinging to irrational religious flotsam....do you?
Right. "Most" music has absolutely nothing whatever to do with Lucifer. Except every maudlin song about your false god, a trinity that became a baby boy wearing diapers on Christmas Day.The dictionary is widely available. Look up "most".
Then stop saying stupid things as if the reality that you have been living in since you were born wasn't the same reality that Jesus was living in when all those 'supernatural" events took place.Tired of you insults.
Toodles!Bye.
What does "the sacred place of dried coconuts" have to do with this?

“The Ahwar of Southern Iraq – also known as the Iraqi Marshlands – are unique, as one of the world’s largest inland delta systems, in an extremely hot and arid environment,” write Unesco in their designation. The organization lists seven sites of interest within the wetlands, three of which are archaeological while four are wetland marsh areas, and include the ancient sites of Ur, thought to have been the birthplace of Abraham. But its long history has been far from easy.
The Ahwar, despite being one of the richest environments in the entire Middle East, has a tragic history. Rumored to have been the inspiration for the Garden of Eden as it sits at the confluences of the Tigris and Euphrates, the diverse reed beds supported massive biodiversity in the form of huge numbers of birds and fish, a rare aquatic landscape in the middle of a desert.
Civilizations have risen and fallen on its banks, agriculture started, and the origins of the written word come from its midst. Covering some 20,000 square kilometers (7,700 square miles), the Mesopotamian Marshes, as they are also known, played a key role in the development of not only people and culture in the region but also wildlife, especially those migrating across Eurasia and into Africa, from flamingos to pelicans.
But in the 1990s, this little slice of life flourishing from the arid desert was devastated. The then President of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, decided to punish the Marsh Arabs who had lived in the wetlands for six millennia for rebelling during the Gulf War, by destroying the wetland on which their entire way of life depended. By building dams and dykes, Hussein succeeded in draining the marshland, and reduced it to just 10 percent of its original size.
However, since Hussein was deposed during the Iraq War, the future of the marshes has been looking up. When Iraqi-born engineer Azzam Alwash returned to the country, he made it his mission to try and restore the wetlands to their former glory. By removing the dams and dykes, destroying the canals and drainage systems, Alwash has spearheaded a move to re-flood the marshes, and has been doing a pretty good job of it. So far around 30 percent has been restored and hopefully, with this designation from Unesco, more will follow.

Many of us consider this the worse intentional example of environmental and ecological weapon of mass destruction. This affected bird and fish migrations and habitat beyond the borders of Iraq, spilling over into the whole Persian Gulf region.
Reason enough to resume where the 1st Gulf War cease-fire left off and get rid of Saddam and his regime.
