Zone1 Was Eve expelled from Eden, or did she leave with Adam?

Sure. What then? The book is called Torah, instruction.

No one authors a book to educate themselves. So do you want to just discredit the author, punch holes in the stories, or understand what Moses was teaching? Make up your mind.
Sorry. My understanding was whether or not such ancient texts should be taken as fact or human perceptions of the time. I hope not to upset anyone's sensibilities.

Moses wrote what he knew. I have no doubt he was as honest as he could be.

Come on you guys:

Genesis 3:17 Then he said to the man, "You listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree

Ahhh! The original sin: Adam listened to his wife and, therefore, it shall always be the wife's fault.

Sorry, but that's lame to me. A man accepts responsibility for their actions, a child or mentally disabled person often does not.

He did accept responsibility. He had a choice to make. Continue dominion over then earth, or suffer the same fate as his wife. He deeded dominion over to Satan and left Eden with his wife. A catastrophic decision for the rest of us...

Eventually, but his cowardice in blaming Eve was documented by your reference.

Good thing the story is apochryphal, eh? :)

It is actual, and Adam did blame his wife because she was guilty of the offense first. Kind of small of him.
He was man enough though to take the punishment on himself and leave with her.
Why do you believe that two people who break a rule should put all the blame on the one who broke it first?

If it was my husband that was so quick to give me up, I would have told him to stay, and I would have packed my bags. But he gave up everything to be with her, so it is what it is...

Eve blamed the serpent (Genesis 3:13); Adam blamed the woman. Anyone else find it worth pondering over that Adam never talked anyone else into disobeying, or encouraged anyone to do so?
