Damn, they were cruising, up 12 points to start the 4th qtr., and while Curry took a break on the bench, the Celtics went on a 9-0 run to start the quarter. And they went on a roll from there, shooting the lights out. I don't know if the Warriors come back from this.

Celtics make NBA Finals history by going on a 24 pt scoring differential in the 4th quarter, highest ever.

Al Horford again shows up big time.

It would be cool to see the Celtics win it again. The Warriors are annoying and Kerr is a Wokester headed for politics.
The Celtics play a smothering defense, best defensive team in the league. They shot the ball very well, especially in the 4th quarter. They have a lot of momentum after edging out Miami in Game 7 and winning Game 1.

So you are saying if he ran for politics, it would be for the right reasons? Not for money? Wouldn't that be great?

He takes home an annual salary of $5 million

Why did Trump get into politics? He was paying too many taxes? He cared about illegals? He wanted to take on pandemics and foreign affairs? He wanted to overturn roe v wade? Did he hate certain regulations that were costing him money? It certainly wasn't for good reasons like to stop rampage shooters that seem to be happening all too often in places like Texas.

Maybe we should raise the age to buy a gun to 21. Would you be open to that? Because a lot of these school shooters are barely legal themselves. Give them a couple years more to mature and forget how they were bullied in highschool. And maybe in those two years they'd get laid and forget about shooting other people. I wonder how many mass shooters are virgins.

I don't think Curry blew it his team mates didn't step up.

Tatum didn't play well. Not even in the last series. Right now he isn't the MVP of the finals. BUT, I think he had the most assists ever for anyone in a finals debut. So he did enough, clearly. And his teammates stepped up big time. I love this game. Al Horford. They say he was a nobody on OKC and did he play with Imbeed in Philly? Something about playing for Boston has elevated his game. He found his home. Reminds me of Chauncey Billups. He bounced around the league unappreciated too until he found the Pistons.

Boston's role players really stepped up. It aint over yet.

Celtics up 2 to 1. Team that wins game 3 wins series over 80% of the time.

All the Celtics have to do is win one of the next 2 games and I think they will win it all. And both games are in Boston. I hope they win the next game and go up 3 to 1. Don't let up. Keep playing hard and confident. You clearly want it more. Your role players are really stepping up. The Dubs role players are not.

What I wanted to talk about was in game 2 Draymond Green fouled some guy and his feet ended up on the guys back neck and head. I didn't realize it when it was live but they replayed it in slow motion and not only did Green purposely keep his feet on his back and head, when he got up he pulled the guys pants down. LOL. I love Dreymond Green. He is dirty but he's the kind of player you want on your team.

“I don’t know what I was supposed to do there,” Brown said. “Somebody got their legs on the top of your head … and then he tried to pull my pants down, I don’t know what that was about but that’s what Draymond Green does.”

Yea, this sucks, I put $150 on the Warriors, and it aint looking good. It's obvious there is a rebounding advantage for Boston, there is no one with any size for GS other than Looney, and he is not very good. I can't believe Boston is going to win it all, the NBA is pretty weak, as far as good teams go.

Wait a fucking minute! If the Golden State Warriors beat Boston, would you say the same thing about the NBA being weak as far as teams go? No you would not. You'd be calling them a DYNASTY. Boston is beating your DYNASTY. That means the NBA is STRONG!!! If Golden State beats everyone, then maybe I would agree with you. Because I'll agree, Golden State isn't what it once was. You thought they were, but they aren't. They are close, so you can't say that the rest of the NBA is weak. They've caught up to Golden State.

Let's not forget Golden State only won 1 without signing future hall of famer Keven Durant. 1. They blew it against Cleveland. Draymond's fault. He cost you a 4th championship. But the point is, those championships are tainted. They had to go get one of the greatest players of all time to win 2 of those championships.

What you don't realize is the East isn't as weak as it once was. Yianni beat the Suns last year and hopefully Boston wins this year. Toronto won in 2019. Lebron snuck won in during the pandemic. This will be the 4th year the Warriors fall short. Who knows if they will make it back next year. And Klay Thompson is sucking in the finals. He's kind of important to your team.

Who else is not stepping up like I thought they would?

Jordan Poole, Wiggins, Gary Payton 2.

It ain't over yet though. If Golden State wins the next game it's all tied up. But 80% of the time the team that wins game 3 wins it all.

I knew damn well how vulnerable this team was, but I failed to factor perhaps the most important quality to winning a championship, in any sport: Momentum. Momentum builds confidence, and confidence builds champions. GS walked in, Boston fought and clawed. In a close game, they have the edge.

The West is weak, that's how GS got there. The East is weak, and it took all of a game 7 for Boston to get there, against Miami.

Since the 1998 season, there have been frequent weak teams that win the championship, but I totally still give Boston their due, they are the best team in the league this year.

Agree that Wiggins and Poole MUST step up their game in order for GS to have a chance. Payton is more of a defensive specialist. Klay is getting his groove back.

Boston's turn to choke. Couldn't buy a basket in the last 2 minutes. GS got lucky with this one, because Boston was shooting great for 3.5 quarters.
