One thing he is not is a man willing to defend or overlook allegations of sexual misconduct of a child. To suggest so is patently dishonest. To believe so is a sign that your critical thinking skills are nonexistent.
Simply listening to his interview makes that clear.
He all but tried to trap Roy by rephrasing the same questions multiple times.

The fact that advertisers may jump ship is just a sign of the current climate we're in where a simple aligation = guilt.
