In one stunning revelation, Rupert Murdoch, the CEO and chairman of Fox Corporation, replied in an email to former House Speaker and Fox Corp. board member Paul Ryan that veteran host Sean Hannity “has been privately disgusted by Trump for weeks.” The exchange regarded Trump’s spreading of election lies following his November 2020 defeat to Joe Biden.

The voting technology company is suing Fox News, alleging the network knowingly aired election lies and conspiracy theories about the 2020 presidential election — falsely implicating Dominion.

I listened to Hannity's radio show years ago. If one thing was clear to me, it was that Hannity was a propagandist who didn't give a tinker's damn about the truth. He would push any conspiracy theory without any real evidence in order to push up his ratings and his listener numbers. It was as transparent as it was pathetic, but on and on it went, just like his FOX Show. Frankly, I never understood how it endured decade after decade except for the appeal of the Fairness Doctrine which seemed to be little more than a license to lie to the public on the airwaves after its repeal. Fox just got more and more blatant as if they thought they were immune from accountability, and that's just the way it looked too.

Thankfully, FOX is now facing its comeuppance. It's damn time, too!
