He was from Enosburg. Same area.Just because the accident happened in Sheldon, that isn't necessarily where the driver is from. In fact, local drivers are more likely to have the sense not to run into a cow.

Maybe. But steering away, he may have hit other traffic, buildings, trees or pedestrians. Going 100 mph doesn't give the driver much time to consider other options that might have been worse.
