USMB Coffee Shop IV

Reaaly getting tired of the son in law. supposedly a crack mechanic but for some reason the wife has to rescue them on a regular basis. Our whole Sunday pissed away because crack mechanic cant tell a lemon when he sees one or doesn't upkeep em.They probably have gone thru more vehicles than I have owned over my lifetime and I've never purchased a new vehicle.
One, smell the oil, then the tranny fluid, listen to the engine, take it for a drive. Not that hard.
Had one that was putting out a big puff of white smoke on start. Called previous owner for some info and found out it had a bad valve guide. All I did was put in a hotter plug and replace as needed.
I speak on sincere and experienced authority that not everybody is good at his/her job. :)

have another pill to take on top of my Chemo pills, potassium. Apparently the radiation is affecting that
So far they haven't suggested that for me. Today will be day 3 of 20 radiation treatments for me. So far so good. No noticeable side effects but that will likely change as the series continues.

A gypsy sings, of birds with broken wings
And painted wheels that never roll
Who hears the sighs? Who stole this paradise?
Who took the fire from his soul?
And where are the roads to freedom?
Where is the life his father knew?
Where is the love, where is the joy
And tell me, where are the roads to freedom?
Now truthful life, who hears the soldier cry?
He was a hero of the war
But no one comes near, he sheds a lonely tear
And wonders what it all was for
And where are the roads to freedom?
Where is the life his father knew?
Where is the love, where is the joy
And tell me, where are the roads to freedom?
And where are the roads to freedom?
Where is the life his father knew?
Where is the love, where is the joy
And tell me, where are the roads to freedom?

buried the Mother in Law yesterday. She made it to eighty and lived at home right up until it went south quick. She was at a hospital for some other test or treatment, outpatient, when it happened, an aneurysm but there was nothing they good do. All of our parents are now gone which makes me an old fart I guess.

Again so sorry for your loss. It does make you think about things when the generation just ahead of us is all gone. All that's left of that generation is my Aunt Betty who turned 99 in September this year. She's still going strong though.

Got about just over a week left. Filed for disability after talking to the Doc and radiation crew, consensus was you ain't going back to work until a month after treatment ends.
