Leadership skills a president must have in order to be successful. Trump has few, if any at all.

Let's begin by stating what skills a president must have/portray in order to be a successful president.

Presidential Leadership Skills: What Makes a Successful Leader

The leadership skills important to be successful as president—whether corporate or political—include decision-making ability (rated "very important" by 88 percent of Americans), integrity and honesty (86 percent), vision and strategic thinking, emotional resilience, empathy and connection with diverse stakeholders, crisis management capability, and communication excellence, with presidential historian Doris Kearns Goodwin identifying empathy, resilience, listening skills, humility, and self-reflection as the qualities that define successful presidential leadership. These competencies apply equally to company presidents and heads of state.

Let's analyze what Trump has shown:

1) Decision making ability? Yes, he has shown that, though his decisions have not been all good (benefits and consequences not been evaluated well)!
2) Integrity and Honesty? No, he has been a total failure here!
3) Vision and Strategic thinking? No, he has not ever considered the consequences of his actions!
4) Empathy and connection with diverse thinking/stakeholders? No, he does not compromise with anyone, nor have empathy with anyone!
5) Communication excellence? Not very much, given that he is a proven liar. Then again, he does communicate his lies in an excellent form!
6) Humility? No, he is an ego driven man that is not humble at all!
7) Listening skills? No, he listens to no one. He tells everyone what to do!
8) Self-reflection? Absolutely not! He thinks he is the best of the best, no matter what the facts show!

Considering that these are the skills necessary to be a successful president, his score of 1.5 (out of 8) means he is a failure as president!

Let me go one step further. A couple of other personality traits that have defined good presidents in the past are:

1) Positive thinking (Trump is constantly thinking the worst of the worst about this nation, and of others around the world).
2) Building of trust (No one trusts him, and he trusts no one)

A positive thinking personality has been shown by many presidents, but I have no desire to open a debate about them here as many were Democrats and to bring up that topic here would be a can of worms that would take away from the OP itself. Having said that, I will mention a president that was a loved Republican (admired by even Trump supporters) and that was a total positive thinker:
  • Ronald Reagan: Famously dubbed the "Great Communicator," his deeply held optimism, positive rhetoric, and genial personality were the hallmarks of his successful two-term presidency.
As far as the building of Trust among all Americans, and coming from a Republican president":

Dwight D. Eisenhower (1953–1961)
  • Bipartisan Appeal: As the Supreme Allied Commander in Europe during WWII, he was so trusted and universally respected that both the Republican and Democratic parties actively recruited him to run for president. [1, 2]
  • Public Consensus: Discussion across platforms like Reddit generally agrees that Eisenhower possessed a massive bipartisan appeal that transcended strict political lines. [1]
  • Governing Style: He governed as a moderate, maintaining and expanding popular New Deal-era social programs while also overseeing infrastructure milestones like the creation of the Interstate Highway System.
Why can't we all see all of this, which are requirements for being a successful president, and realize that Trump does not qualify for that title?

Amazing. And yet he is still very successful. Guess you don't need that after all. However, much of his success has come off the left's TDS. The more you guys try to destroy Trump, the richer he gets. Same with Elon Musk. You made him a trillionaire.

Trump is an entertainer. Always has been and he always wants to entertain. He has no skills for leadership. None.

You’re not supposed to get rich as president moron.

Now perform the same analysis on your last chosen candidate and compare which one is superior. Then you can run along and sing LA LA LA Nancy.

Successful?

You are voicing an opinion. Facts and his approval rating do not support your opinion!

Got to admit, it is quite entertaining to see TDS flareups every 20 minutes.

Oh, so criticizing the Democrats, Biden, and Obama by the Republicans, does not happen as often?

To finish it off, the right always deflects (like the post you put up) and never addresses the OP itself, but I always address the OP in à debate way!

LMAO, reap what you sow--Those left criticisms that you cannot refute are in response to YOUR every 20 minute bashings. You have heard the old saw about those who live in glass houses, haven't you?

Got news for you. They were already rich, most all of the recent ones. But, the left’s lawfare has made Trump richer and yet you guys keep on doing it.
