USMB Coffee Shop IV

Got my Chemo tablets today. You either have to wear gloves while handling them or wash your hands good after taking em. Took first 4 cpl hrs ago, so far no adverse effects
Good Lord! You take the chemo tablets, yet they don't want you to touch them? That's just messed up. Where you putting them? Never mind, I probably don't want to know.

Wife brought home a dead kitten she found on way home today. She picked it up with a plastic bag she had in her car so we could bury it. that makes about 10 which includes a few of our own.

I saw a dead squirrel in the road in my neighborhood this morning, and I'm torn between burying it and leaving it for an eagle or a coyote. I think it's kind of a rule where I live to leave road kill in place to feed other species. I often see raccoons and deer left in place for weeks, so long as it's out of the road. Unfortunately, we also see dead "prairie lions" -- feral cats.

Standard procedure for most at home chemo therapy. Failure to wash hands after handling the tablets can cause any residue on your skin to penetrate the skin and this can apparently have adverse affects. I don't know all the medical explanation for this, but the few times I've had to dispense the tablets to a person, I was instructed to use protective gloves or to wash my hands thoroughly after handling the pills. The pills are taken orally.

Yes. I was always told to just leave the road kill where it is as other wildlife will dispose of it.

You wonder where they're coming from huh.

Here is something strange.

No way I can explain that or any of the magic acts we see done these days. So many are just amazing and unexplainable to the average person.

But so good to see you Dajjal. Have been wondering about you. You and your sister are well?

Lot of strays. We have a black coming to the back door that loves to be petted but isn't quite ready to come in. I call him Boobineu......or Booboo
Feeding those strays does seem to multiply them. :) (But you are kind to care for them.)

oh I get it. Gasoline should be washed off too, but I'm not taking it orally.

Hi, Foxy. That illusion is so strange that I figure it must be camera tricks. I feel well but a doctor has told me my kidneys are failing. I suppose it will catch up with me eventually, but I don't feel ill at the moment. My sister is ok and she has been taking the recommended drugs.

Probably most folks in the senior citizen category have some loss of kidney function. But generally it doesn't affect our quality of life and we live out our assigned number of years in spite of it. I pray your doctor is treating it appropriately.

Wife is slowly sliding into the cat rescue charity business. She has her own tax office with a room not currently being used. We spent part of the day cleaning it out so she can act as an overflow on occasion. Managed to catch 1 of the stray females and got a nice discount on getting her fixed. Rescue she is hooked up with has some celebrity star power money behind em and have relay helped get the stray situation under control

Was informed I had cancer early this yr. Probably should have been caught earlier but my Doc took a sabbatical with his wife to decide where they were going to retire to and the guy who replaced him simply went thru the motions. Had an op in April, found it in 2 lymph nodes. Been on chemo for a week. Went in today he was somewhat surprised I was back at work and had no I'll effects from it. radiation is next. See what happens.
