Unconstitutional: Law banning marijuana users from possessing firearms

We also support the de criminalization of marijuana. Which this ruling will help.

You conservative **** ups can go right back to just waving your little dicks around and shooting people
how do you know they have little dicks otto?...

Blanket statements like that simply do not work. I've known many a person who could smoke and drink all day that I still fully trusted them to handle a gun, conversely, I've known stone sober people who should never go within a mile of any firearm.

Gun ownership confers responsibility and most responsible people either don't use intoxicants or know when they have had too much to handle a gun.

I'd say the bigger worry is a lot of stoner leftists previously blocked from buying a gun that now might. If the assassination attempt rate of Trump goes up now, that might indicate something.
And if it goes down, you can find other things to attack people over.

A traditional conservative would be the following.

A conservative in politics is a person or ideology that favors traditional values, limited government intervention, and the preservation of established institutions. They generally advocate for free-market capitalism, lower taxes, individual liberty, and a strong national defense, often preferring gradual, evolutionary change over rapid societal restructuring.

That definition of conservative is now considered to be a RINO in today’s maga republic party.

Where loyal and being a sycophant is all that is demanded.
Where loyal and being a sycophant is all that is demanded......thats the way it is with both parties otto....yes yours too...

Ahhh--- NO.

Cannabis can intensify or trigger mental illness in people who already suffer from some mental infirmity or propensity towards mental illness. It can also do many positive things like calm nerves, dull pain, help people sleep, aid in religious ceremonies. But it doesn't necessarily /cause/ anything.

Some of the smartest, sanest men in history were pot smokers.

Nor does psychoses lead to violence. Many psychotics are violent, many are not. It depends on the condition and circumstances.
roshan said once that you can inject pot into your body...he doesnt have a clue....

Not surprising. I wouldn’t want someone like you at my home. You’d complain about it the entire time.
No. Thsts your private property and poor taste in decorating isn’t a moral crime so there’s no issue with you doing it however you please.

There IS however a moral issue with allowing people to become intoxicated and thereby possibly unable to make the Right decisions on important matters.

The law banning marijuana
On a federal level, Cannabis Prohibition is unconstitutional. The power to regulate recreational substances belongs to the states until there is a constitutional amendment granting the Feds the authority over the states. That's why it took an Amendment to ban Alcohol nationwide. Furthermore Cannabis is a valuable agricultural product for farmers that the feds unconstitutionally banned in 1937. Only to flip-flop when it was needed for the war effort. Then to flip back after the war.

Intoxicated people shouldn't play with their weapons. Having ever used an prohibited substance for recreation should not disqualify citizens from owning firarms.

Pot has caused serious mental and physical health issues

In 1933, a young man named Victor Licata killed his family with an axe. It was said that he was normal until marijuana drove him insane, and he was called a “marihuana (sic) maniac” in one story. All of this was false, because Licata had been suffering from serious mental health problems for years, and it’s unclear whether he used marijuana at all. But the story stuck and the stage was set for federal prohibition.

The Congress in 1937 that considered the “Marihuana Tax Act,” seemed almost uninterested in the drug itself. While “cannabis” was a widely known drug that had been prescribed for various ailments for decades, the foreign-sounding name “marihuana” was unfamiliar to many members.

The bill came up for a vote at the end of the day and Republican minority leader Bertrand Snell asked why it was “a matter we should bring up at this late hour of the afternoon? I do not know anything about the bill.” He was assured by Sam Rayburn of Texas that “t has something to do with something that is called marihuana. I believe it is a narcotic of some kind.”

And that’s how we got federal marijuana prohibition.

And in 1988, the DEA’s own administrative law judge, Francis Young, ruled that marijuana should be no higher than Schedule II. As Young wrote: “Marijuana, in its natural form, is one of the safest therapeutically active substances known to man. By any measure of rational analysis marijuana can be safely used within a supervised routine of medical care.” That was overruled by DEA administrator John Lawn.

It would be impossible to measure the human cost wrought by Anslinger’s racist crusade and unthinking members of Congress. Rethinking the federal war on marijuana is long overdue."

Marijuana, alcohol, drugs all cause intoxication. This aint difficult. We don't need more laws infringing on the 2nd. It should be common sense, not a law, that you shouldnt be playing with guns while you're intoxicated.
Very true. But, truly you should never play with guns, ever.

Kath, The founding guitarist and lead singer of the rock band Chicago died in January 1978 after putting a 9mm semiautomatic pistol to his head. He had just removed the magazine and assured a friend it wasn't loaded, forgetting a live round remained in the chamber.

Have beak and birdbrain, will parrot, always on the FEAR side...

Wow.
You are incredibly ignorant.
I mean, stupid statements like that make my jaw drop.

LOL!!!

Why isn't Willie Nelson dead?

Age 93

If 1/10th of the parroted BS you spew was true, he'd be dead for decades.

The entire motive to criminalize marijuana started with the end of Prohibition. The head of the Prohibition bureaucracy didn't want to hit the unemployment line. So he used taxpayer funds to come up with

"Reefer Madness"

which was complete factless fearmongering aimed at moron self proclaimed sub humans to get scared AND SUPPORT turning his bureaucracy into "enforcing marijuana laws."

Pac Man played in the NFL, claims he smoked weed before every game. He is a top 5 all time greatest ever KR/PR and was a very good CB, just below HOF level.

LeVeon Bell rushed for over 200 yards in an NFL game after smoking weed.

Now you explain how any rational person would consider either one of those two "impaired...."

And when you can't, then you become fact avoiding advocate of BIG GOVERNMENT, the WORST FORM of it...

Because you aren't likely to see the SC rule the criminalization of Marijuana is unconstitutional.
No, I mean why would I fight the inevitable. It is my opinion. Congress voted itself the right to do what previous Congresses were prevented from doing with the blessing of the Courts.

Thanks for proving how marijuana can destroy rational thought.
You're brainwashed beyond all recognition. If you don't think it effects motor skills, driving, judgment, etc. you're a moron.
Oooops. Never mind.
You're a moron.
