Having said that, the reality is that weed is everywhere now, legal in many states, and it's a pointless exercise to try to prevent someone from buying a firearm who has used marijuana or continues to. It's like trying to hold up a 2X4 to stop a tidal wave.
But you're correct: alcohol and drugs really don't mix with firearms usage.

I have no use for Israel; nor do I have a use for any marijuana year.

Marijuana changes brain chemistry, just like alcohol. Anyone using either of those products should not be in possession of a firearm. Just that simple. That’s why alcohol and drugs are not allowed in my home or motor vehicle.

The upside is that multiple lawsuits involving several states have recently been brought to hold the pot industry accountable for the harm and misinformation it’s been spewing for the past several years. Plaintiffs are expected to eventually be in the millions.

cause I have a lot of experience and can confirm intoxication it a pretty accurate description of my condition most of the time but not all the time like right now,,
