You would think starvation food shortages or tyrannical vax mandates would be enough, but in America which turns a blind eye towards corruption this is the kind of thing that will take a pol down. We are corrupt but we are wedded to our illusion of ourselves as mom and apple pie. It wasn't the Vietnam War which took down Nixon, nor Watergate. The public really turned when the White House tapes were released that had him drunk and swearing like a sailor.
