The 13th HIGHEST rate at 71.44 per 100,000 as of today. That means that 151 other countries have lower per capita rates. So much for your claim that 'no nation' demonstrated a better response.
151 of them already did.
But we're not the worst is the point, and I'm guessing that if your numbers are correct, Europe surpassed us in Covid rates in spite of them doing what you leftists claim would have worked here. Last I looked at the rate was about a month or so ago.
Oh, and you don't have the slightest clue how other countries count COVID deaths.
Sure I do, because other countries have socialized medical care. They get paid whether they treat Covid or a sprained ankle. It's all the same to them. President Trump promised funds to facilities that treated Covid patients. A friend of mine has a future daughter-in-law that's an ER nurse. She said if you have Covid and die at her hospital, it's automatically a Covid death regardless of what you actually die from.
While I've read and heard many stories like this, there could be no better proof than when it happens in your very own family and it's proven BS.
Pure delusional fantasy.
Again, why would any rational person ignore say....the CDC on Covid along with some of the world's leading expert on infection disease....and instead, believe 'Ray from Cleveland'.
There is no reason. You have no idea what you're talking about.
Oh I do, and do you want to know why? Because I know American politics. If Biden wins, watch how our Covid numbers automatically get better his first week in office.
When Trump, by his own admission, intentionally downplayed COVID. As he was telling Bob Woodward how deadly COVID was, how much more dangerous than the flu it was....in February.
Trump lied and told the public that April would have a very negative effect on COVID. Of course, it didn't. It got much worse in April.
In February, Trump insisted Covid would 'disappear'. Of course, it didn't.
Trump lied and said that deaths by suicide durng a lockdown would be far greater than death from Covid. Of course, that's blithering nonsense. COVID deaths are already 4.5 times higher than an entire year's worth of suicides from any cause.
In June, Trump said that pandemic is 'fading away'. It wasn't. We had our worst day ever for new infections today .
Also in June, Trump said that the virus was 'very much under control' and case counts would soon be zero. Of course that was a lie. We didn't have it under control, and we don't. We had 120,000 new cases today alone.
Also in June, Trump insinuated that the flu was more dangerous than COVID. Which was a bald faced lie, with Trump telling Woodword how much MORE deadly COVID was than the flu back in March.
Trump lied his ass off. And now we have a 911's worth of American deaths every 4 days or so. We lost 1100 people today alone.
Okay, if you're going to blame Trump for Covid deaths, I'm blaming Hussein for all the flu deaths during his administration; over 200,000.
Trump giving reassurance to Americans during that time was not lying. Does anybody believe he really knew for a fact what the outcome was going to be? As for Woodhead's book, when asked, Dr. Fauci stated that everything that he and President Trump discussed was properly and timely relayed to the people. Need the video of the interview, just ask.
Bottom line is, no matter what President Trump said or did, it did not change the outcome of this virus. The only real mistake he made was providing funds to facilities that treated Covid patients. Without that, our numbers would probably be half of what they are today.
Did Trump use this playbook? Of course not. He ignored it.....with the predictably disasterous results that followed.
Trump's incompetence was unspeakable.
What didn't he use in this so-called playbook? The playbook is given to our health officials, not the President. The health officials tell the President the proper course of action. It's not like he has this so-called playbook in the top drawer of his Oval Office desk. You have some imagination. You have zero clue as to how our government works.
