Third Iran has a huge number of missiles and drones, it used those at a high rate initially to drain Israel's and Gulf States defence missiles (1 drone costs 40 K a defence missile costs 2 million).

Most of their missiles and drones are buried in tunnels. Besides, they won't launch anything if they are dead.

Iran doesn't need to "win" it cannot win, it knows that, but it can continue to put huge pressure on the US indirectly through the economic impacts. It wants this to stop and it can be stopped now by the US and accept the situation or it can continue because of trump's ego and his subservience to Israel and costs and consequences and deaths continue.
