Trump Tells Pearl Harbor Joke After Japanese Journalist Asks Him Why He Didn't Tell Japan About The Attack On Iran

It's not going to become global. No one supports Iran, not even China or Russia. All of the Arab states have turned against them.

I hope not......but the way it's going doesn't look good.

Not very diplomatic, lets put it that way.
Taking into account the constant rude behavior by the press and congressional Democrats towards Trump....I'm willing to cut him some slack.
They've falsely accused him of being a dictator, a rapist, a pedophile, a racist, you name it.
They've raided his home, tried to blow his brains out, tried ruining him financially, impeached him over ridiculous nonsense.....yet he's supposed to be completely cordial with them?

But you must know that many more people will be slaughter if this stupid war becomes global.

Hang in there Skye, I understand how you feel, but I feel certain this thing won't end in WWIII. Very soon, Iran is going to be all alone in this with the USA, Israel, the Kurds, and about FIFTEEN other countries either actively opposing them militarily, or actively breaking up all efforts by them to keep blocking the Strait.

Have faith.

And the last thing anyone is going to do, even China or Russia, is come to Iran's aid and get caught up in the scrum.

Trump should not have said that
Probably not.

It was snarky
Trump is a snarky guy. But his point was valid: Trump should have warned Japan before the Iran attack and risked a leak about as much as the Japs should have warned us before bombing our Pearl Harbor.

Honestly, I think Trump gets a little edgy and testy when he is tired and at 78 going 18 hours a day 6-7 days a week, I don't know what keeps the guy going.

Yes.

Please.

Please go on record for whether the slaughtering of tens of thousands of your own people for protesting is justified grounds for military intervention or not.
No it is not

The world is full of humanitarian abuses in N Korea, Russia, Middle East, China, Africa.
But we only seem to be concerned with those countries that have an abundance of oil like Venezuela and Iran

On what do you base that? The first and second string of their regime leadership have been killed. We don't even know if their new Ayatolla is alive or not. Their nuke program has been decimated, Their navy has been decimated. Their airforce is nonexistent. Their ballistic missile program has been decimated

Firing of missiles has dwindled over 90%. Similar thing on drones.

Nah, we're concerned with the ones trying to kill us. Maduro with his drugs and Iran with it's terror

I didn’t see the threat from Maduro or Iran
Just like I didn’t see the threat of Iraq WMDs, the Taliban, or the N Vietnamese.

Some day we need to learn to mind our own business

I haven't been around in a while and most likely missed a boatload of opportunities to jump all over your dumb and twisted ass. TRUMP is not asking any country to bail him or us out. Our military is the greatest, and we will always control shipping around IRAN. All he is asking is that our allies do their fair share, a term you, on the left, are quite familiar with.

For the amount of crude oil that passes through the Strait of Hormuz destined for Japan, they had better well step up and help us.

From Google AI:

"Approximately 70% to 95% of Japan's crude oil imports pass through the Strait of Hormuz, making it one of the nations most vulnerable to supply disruptions in this narrow, critical waterway. The region serves as the primary source for Japanese energy, with nearly 15 million barrels per day (mb/d) of total crude flowing through the route."

President Trump's little joke had a point to it. This is one of the ways he gets people to act.
