It could be referring to oil futures. But I'm with you, the prices I'm pulling up are:

Hopefully things will soon settle down. A year ago we had the stock market dealing with on/off/on-again tariffs and now this year oil is having the same up-and-down effect on the market.

I'm not into conspiracies about market manipulation, at least not yet.
