Trump Tells Pearl Harbor Joke After Japanese Journalist Asks Him Why He Didn't Tell Japan About The Attack On Iran

p
Again, what am I missing? The Japanese pulled of one the greatest surprise attacks of modern warfare. Why is it discourteous to bring that up when the reporter asked about our surprise attack?

Are we going to be all day with this? we both have our opinions and thats that. :dunno:

Then why try to strong arm her?
Not many of our allies will support Trumps war

Do you think our closest ally Canada will support it?
How about Denmark?
I don’t think we’re looking for military support for this war. First of all it’s not going to be a long war. The United States and Israel are decimating Iran as we speak. After it’s over maybe Iranians will be able to fight for their freedom, but for now we are executing the mission, and that is to neuter Iran.

This reminds me of the post 9-11 era
At no time has the U.S. ever had so much global support.

When Bush invaded Afghanistan to go after AlQaeda, countries around the world supported us and sent troops and support.

But when Bush used the War on Terror and fake WMD claims to invade Iraq, those countries refused to support him and Bush built his “Coalition of the Willing” full of minor countries trying to gain favor with the U.S.

That is what Trump is facing in trying to make it look like he has international support

They all support it. Per usual though, none of them want any skin in the game.

I have to agree with that.

The answer is found in their own national self interest.

But you already know that.

Keep in mind those countries have to gain the support of their people. People who are insulted by Trumps punitive tariffs, insults and bullying

Who would want to send their sons to support Trump?

Not very diplomatic, lets put it that way.

I have mixed feelings on the affair because the Japs killed my dad's youngest brother. I agree it was rather tasteless as far as career diplomacy goes, but then, Trump forever the nice guy also never lets you forget that if he really wanted to, he could turn Japan into a red glowing char, so, Trump's foreign policy approach is one of business and buddy, but you don't really want to get on his bad side; Maduro and Kohlemeni both found that out the hard way.

Tactless? Perhaps, but I'm sure Trump sees the advantage in never letting foreign powers like Russia and China get too comfortable with him, like an old shoe like Joe Biden. Trump always keeps them guessing and just a little bit uncertain.

I'm sure the PM had a bit of chill as she looked about the room realizing that those sitting across from her could turn her into a radioactive pretzel of strontium-90 if they wanted to.

Trump, like the godfather who makes you an offer you can't refuse...

Really would like to know your thoughts on the way the killing of the protesters may have lit the green light on strikes against the Iranian regime.

You being a woman and all, it's not like there are a lot of others here to ask.

What intelligent and rational national leader would choose a course that could effectively wreck their own economy?

It might surprise you to learn that they would get fucked if Iran was able to close the Strait of Hormuz.

You may not agree, but that’s irrelevant. Their people wouldn’t be very pleased with them if that happens because their own leaders fucked yo so massively.

Trump has a hard sell in condemning the treatment of protestors when he orders his ICE agents to rough up and kill protestors.

What do you want me to say, many countries kill protesters sadly, but that's no reason to start WWIII.

Another case of Trump acting unilaterally and against advice and then demanding that those who oppose his actions fix it. Those countries will point to Trump as the reason for their struggles.

Who is going to feel bigger impact……those countries or Trump?

Trump is facing midterm elections in November with failing economic numbers and crippling gas prices
What are the Republican chances in November if gas is over $5?

Most countries will let Trump sit in his own stink
