Trump Tells Pearl Harbor Joke After Japanese Journalist Asks Him Why He Didn't Tell Japan About The Attack On Iran

Really would like to know your thoughts on the way the killing of the protesters may have lit the green light on strikes against the Iranian regime.

You being a woman and all, it's not like there are a lot of others here to ask.
here's my woman's perspective: I think that murdering protestors was the line in the sand that Iran crossed. Trump had warned Iran many times that they wouldn't like what he would have to do if they started that.

Though I'd guess that the war was going to happen sooner or later, too, without murdering protestors.

And I am really skeptical of the entire thing.

The japanese pm was our guest

What trump said was insulting

He coulda’ shoulda’ said something else
Pearl Harbor was 80 years ago and today’s Japan has disavowed that form of Government

It would be like the Japanese PM mocking Trump because of Slavery and Jim Crow

Exactly

I dont think Trump meant any insult other than toward the japanese reporter who asked a question he didnt like

But it wasnt a good answer

You are so clueless!! Trump did not tell anyone or any country about his plan of attack to avoid LEAKS. He knows damn well the idiot Democrats would shout his game plan to the treetops, and Europe is not much of a friend these days, so we can't trust them either.
Wasn't Obama the guy who gave away Israel's attack plans?
Exactly

Trump has very clear issues with rude journalists.

I have mixed feelings on the affair because the Japs killed my dad's youngest brother. I agree it was rather tasteless as far as career diplomacy goes, but then, Trump forever the nice guy also never lets you forget that if he really wanted to, he could turn Japan into a red glowing char, so, Trump's foreign policy approach is one of business and buddy, but you don't really want to get on his bad side; Maduro and Kohlemeni both found that out the hard way.

Tactless? Perhaps, but I'm sure Trump sees the advantage in never letting foreign powers like Russia and China get too comfortable with him, like an old shoe like Joe Biden. Trump always keeps them guessing and just a little bit uncertain.

I'm sure the PM had a bit of chill as she looked about the room realizing that those sitting across from her could turn her into a radioactive pretzel of strontium-90 if they wanted to.

Trump, like the godfather who makes you an offer you can't refuse...
Hindsight it 20-20.

Trump is a genuinely nice person when you meet him, but he has issues with people who are rude to him.

He's not afraid to dress somebody down in front of cameras.

He's not two-faced like some politicians....nice and smiling in front of the cameras but a real a hole when in private.

With Trump you get the same person. Sometimes he says things that his enemies can use against him, but he's not reading from a teleprompter like Obama always was.

Trump is a nice person if you stroke his ego
If you challenge him, he becomes a petty, vindictive Bully

That Pearl Harbor joke fell flat. Trump should know better than that.
It wasnt even a legitimate comparison
You don’t tell your enemy you plan to attack

But the D Day invasion plans were shared with our allies

It wasnt a rude question

In fact think it was much more secure to alert the japanese pm than the Euro’s or members of congress

LOL Like your loon leader Schumer does every day? it's the goto for your cult. And you cheer them

15th post
It was rude.....and Trump tried to illustrate how silly the question was.

Notifying your allies of an impending attack is not silly.
They all have an interest in what happens in the Strait
