We will be in a depression if Trump doesn't restart the economy soon. Some sort of Executive Order needs to be issued to keep the Dem governors in line.

If there is anything that I (as a Trump voter) is questioning right now is why in the hell is Trump listening to these medical experts? Their predictions are wrong their models are based on unreliable and unobtainable data, and they are bureaucrats that are receiving a paycheck from my tax dollars while they promote closing down the economic engine of this country. Clearly, so far this Covid is not performing up to their expectations. Their predictions of millions dying hasn't emerged. In fact we see even NY having a sharp decline. IMO Trump needs to stop this sequestration of our economic engine and get the country back to work, going to restaurants, etc. Maybe he could keep certain geographic areas (especially high density areas) in sequestration and look into highly dense African American communities that are suffering much more that the rest of US. Give THEM help. Stop trying to spread government largesse around to folks who could actually make this economy hum again if we just let them go back to work!!
Comparing to these COVID-19 models, global warming looks more plausible.
Fine.....just don't come asking for bailouts. Get your budget out and slash or just tax more.........good luck

Okay, now please explain how Trump can be blamed for something he's not in charge with?
1) Because he is a fear mongering idiot one moment ( 100-200K will die in our best estimates)
this was a far fetched estimate to make himself look like the savior when only 60K die, which is still terrible.

2) He casts blame on experts, just some, only the ones that dare tell the TRUTH.

3) He reacted slowly, albeit the correct travel ban from China, but which still allowed thousands to enter the Country.

4) Totally unprepared by denying that "it is only 15 and will go to ZERO, like a miracle, it will disappear." And Blaming this on Obama, his go to. When in doubt blame someone. Here is a list of who trump blames for HIS FAILURES.

The Fake News Media
Obama
Hillary
Democrats
(R) that dare speak against him.
That Kenyan Guy.
White House Press, Fake News Again.
(D) senators of (D) Governors, whichever fits the agenda.
Illegal Voters.

Finally, "No, I take NO responsibility at ALL." djt. Pathetic Quote. Not Leadership.

Your lord a master does not have authority for overruling Governers on this issue.

He did not close down the individual states so he is not being blamed for ordering the states to close down. He is blamed for prolonging conditions for the need for closure because of his incompetent handling of the crisis.
Why should he close individual states? He issued guidelines, and it's up to Governors, should they chose, to impose them. Some Governors did it, some did not.

Again, you said Trump does not have authority to overrule Governors. Now you're blaming him for not overruling them. You can't have it both ways.

The Republican governor of my own deep red state is not willing to sacrifice the people of our state at the alter of trump's economic wishes. The Mayor and County Mayor where I live extended the stay at home order, this very afternoon for another week. The state had 7 new deaths since yesterday, bringing the total to 79 dead in a little over a month. We're pretty conservative down here. We're just not used to 79 people dropping dead in the state in a little over a month from a disease running rampant. The vast majority of those that have come down with it are between 20 and 50. This isn't anything to fk around with, just to make a buck for the GDP.
Any info about how 79 deaths from COVID-19 plus all deaths from everything else compares to previous year(s) counts?

But he can't. Because he's got next to no say in the matter. He fucked up and ignored and denied the virus threat. And there's nothing he can do about it.
Send people back to normal now and you have a virus resurgence that will ensure the Republican Party is consigned to the ashes of history for the next 100 years.
Cant agree at all. The problem was the lockdown.
The lockdowns are working you dope. Discontinuing them will increase the number of sick. It cost hundreds of thousands of dollars for a person on a ventilator in ICU. So, ya genius, send more folks into hospitals.
People going to grocery store, postal and Amazon deliveries, etc are not lockdowns, and spread is still possible. What we have is worst possible combination, economy is stalled to prevent spreading, while grocery shopping and other activities are continuing spread.

Ending stay-at home orders, isolating sick, while letting people working in combo with social distancing and increased hygiene, cannot harm us more. If you need to wear gloves and mask, so be it, but shutting economy will hurt us more than virus itself.

Oh? Keep the shutdown on and it makes 1929 depression look like a piker, you will feel it and then some, faggot, but that won't stop you from pushing for it until it happens.
Maybe then you will realize you fucked up, or maybe you're retarded.
There will be no going back, either way.
How 'bout this, hunker down and ride out the storm and come out and rebuild when it's over.
You can't ride out the storm where there is no storm.

If is up to me, there would be no stimulus. Trump made a "yuge" mistake by falling into leftist trap, and signed the damn thing.

What is this uncontrolled blabbering about?

My question is not standalone question, but reply to Camp's post. Go back, read it, regroup and come back again.

Correct, we're getting there. However, states are free to impose their own rules.

In a little over a month and rising every day? Suspect you wold have to go back to 1918 Spanish flue. Our larger centers of population and transportation are far different now than then. I do not know, but I doubt it spread across the rural farmland from the population centers in less than a month. If you find out anything about TN history of epidemics, I would be interested, so please post.

Suggestion, read Camp's post first. My reply to him is challenging his statement, and it's not standalone question.

Once you realize that, you'll see how your post has no purpose. Possibly not.

Trump is caught between a rock and a hard place... Damned if you do and damned if you don't.. The story of his presidential career at this point. The deep state will see to it that no matter how much you suffer, if it don't damage Trump or keep him in check, then it must go on (the negative reporting). All we can do is hope these medicines work, and Trump can force them through no matter how much the deep state resist him. It's amazing that the deep state has actually chosen to allow people to die over their possible politics involved.

People will rebel at the poles, and they should do just like Trump does against those political opportunist questioning him in those briefings.

True. They got him where they want him. They're completely for ruining economy in order to prevent him getting re-elected. This image can give you an idea what I am talking about.

I saw this, and thought wow.... Who knows what to do, but fear isn't the answer either. I felt for these two, but sadly they were actually duped by the ladies father who sounded like he was very stubborn about telling them the truth after he got it. He ultimately paid for it with his life, and that was a very sad thing for that family.

If have a feeling hit you, then get help immediately. I had the flu back in December in which was very odd for me, but I did seek medical attention quickly. Pride must be set aside, and humbleness must take precedence in a situation like this one.

No games.
