Long ago (early 2000s), I found out that lots of Indians with Green Cards were looking for work (Americans had dropped out?), and ended up getting CDL licenses. I knew a few Sikhs, great people. Hard workers, family first.

Truck driver accused of being in the US illegally pleads not guilty in Florida crash that killed 3

I've been witness to horrific accidents involving Tractor Trailers. It appears most of the "new" drivers are not as well trained as long haul drivers used to be (from conversations with older drivers on the road), and with the advent of new technologies with drivers using screens and phones to navigate and such, distractions are all over the place. The accident highlighted here is one of pulling an illegal/dumb move that few experienced older drivers would dream of pulling.

Now Florida, gets into the fight with the immigration angle and more. But the high court is no nonsense on the types of cases where we have States suing States. Especially "Long Shot" cases many of us see as ignorant of the Constitution and frivolous.

Supreme Court rejects Florida's bid to sue states over truck licenses for immigrants

The Supreme Court has rejected Florida’s long shot attempt to sue California and Washington over the issuance of commercial driver licenses to truckers who don’t speak English and are not authorized to be in the United States.
