Trump and his team have to negotiate from a place of strength and ensure Iran does not ever get a nuke. That must be the primary objective.

Their regime must be replaced but this should have been in place BEFORE they began this war. At this point, it is all about trying to obtain base objectives. How Iran will fare over the next couple of decades with increased China and Russian influence will be a challenge. Not nearly as worrisome as losing Taiwan as an ally or a territory.
