Trump never planned on following through. He is the King of card sharks who always bluff and lose.Trump says he’s open to tariff negotiations, contradicting White House aides: Live updates
He may change his mind a few more times in the next 24 hours. Who knows? Cuz heck, it's only the health of the global economy at stake here.
Sadly he bluffs, we loseTrump never planned on following through. He is the King of card sharks who always bluff and lose.
Countries might impose a tariff on a particular product in order to protect that industry. The US does the exact same shit. It helps to maintain a competitive balance. Imposing a universal tariff on all imports because you're butthurt the exporting country isn't buying enough from us even though they're 20-100x smaller in population and economy is literally the most braindead logic on the planet. It makes even less sense when you tariff products that we don't even make here! You're not "evening the playing field" with a universal tariff on 100 countries, what you're doing is setting yourself up for economic collapse.
The eu isn't just one country.. trump didn't put a tariff on the "EU".The average tariff the EU has on US imports is less than 3%.
So how much does the UK tariff is? We have a trade surplus with them and Trump pit a 10% tariff on themThe eu isn't just one country.. trump didn't put a tariff on the "EU".
You have to look at each country individually
That almost reads like you're tired of winning. So not only is my 401 taking a hit (down a couple thousand already) but prices on everything are going up
Just great
No, consumers do.It doesn't matter what country it is, the taxpayers pay the price no matter where you are, right?
Oh, ffs. As though the US has no quotas and tariffs on its imports. When other countries tariff us, not allowing our products into their markets on a free trade basis, but their products are sold freely here in america, yes,
The system designed by the US has made it the richest for the longest in recent history. What a victim it is.we are supporting the worlds' economies.
To achieve what?Trump is trying different stratgies, and weighing the pros and cons and adjusting as needed.
No, you have society as a feeding frenzy. That's because we are not a socialist nation....yet.....
On what planet do 491s tanking and prices of everything going up equal winning? That almost reads like you're tired of winning.
Almost...

No, consumers do.
And I've said I disagree with the universal tariff. I said true reciprocal tariffs are good though.
