Which is still a library and a process that the Obama Foundation was negotiating with NARA and funding with donations.

And, these people have classified documents in their heads and, apparently, that is alright, even though their heads are in their homes.

No different than a child custody case where the non-custodial parent holds onto the child beyond the period of visitation.
When a demand is made to return the child, and the child is delivered, there is no crime. If the non-custodial parent, instead hides the child and refuses to return the child, it becomes felony kidnapping.

You’ve lost any semblance of a point here. You were mad that NARA didn’t move Trump’s presidential records to Florida, but ignored the fact that the only reason other presidents have their records moved is to work on their presidential libraries.

Trump has nothing. If he ever did decide to get a presidential library together, then he’d engage in discussions with NARA. Until then, NARA is going to keep the documents in DC facilities because they have no reason to spend taxpayer money on another facility.

Clinton didn’t take classified documents. She was discussing topics that were classified in a non-classified system. This is a far different situation than Trump sitting in hundreds of documents.

Biden turned everything over. He didn’t try to hide them from the DoJ.

Trump never would have had any problems if he had just turned over all the documents like he was required to. There would be no charges. The entire reason for this mess is because he made a decision to fuck around.
