The War is about land. Donbas. When power shifted from a Russian puppet Russian proxies demanded that the Donbas area return to Russia.

Ukraine refused so the region went to War for 8 years ending in Russia recognizing them as new countries and invaded.

Russia then used this as an opportunity to take Strategic Beach Front Property and pissibly all of Ukraine if it continues.

1. Russia moved in to save people who want to be a part of Russia. Who refused to be a part of Ukraine allied with the EU and NATO. Also Russia not wanting NATO in Ukraine as a line in the sand.

Russia/Putin has stated that if Ukraine is put into NATO he will go to War with NATO.

Whether he is bluffing or not can only be found out one way.

2. Ukraine DEMANDS land stolen is theirs.
Went to War to tell Russia you will keep this land over our dead bodies.

To put into perspective. Payrts of Lower Texas have basically been occupied by people from Mexico. They claim independence from the U.S. and Mexico arms them to fight Texans.

Whether I agree with Ukraine or Russia doesnt change the facts here.

In my opinion, Only DIRECT NATO TROOPS can stop the Ukrainians from losing the War. I believe that would end in WWIII and the eventual use of Nuclear weapons.

So that is out of the question for me.

We can go into more and more debt by funding but Russia will just keep taking more land til they take all of Ukraine.

Sooo best we can hope for to me is Loss of Donbas, and Crimea to Russia and they give back the rest..

Then the EU can move in troops to those borders so any future attacks would be a direct attack on the EU. Which would lead to War with Russia.

Just an opinion. But given Trump is talking EU peace keepers. His aim is concede land but the rest is off limits with NATO troops standing the line. In that way should Putin attack these troops he would start a War with NATO itself while saving face saying they are not really NATO troops.
