You're kidding yourself. Iran still has a large network of drones they can deploy in the air and at sea, but they're not going to reveal their hand before they need to. They can still cause catastrophic damage to the desalination plants of the Arab states. And yes the Strait is closed because it's been mined and is vunerable to missile attack which one Thai ship found out the hard way when Trump told ships to sail through and not worry, because the US "destroyed everything."

Iran is getting its ass kicked. The retaliation it is doing is marginal. The Strait isn't "closed" due to any action done by Iran but by threats and Insurance company games.

First, I would not take embargos off their oil sales providing them 350 million dollars a day in revenue.
I would not openly support Putin's biggest ally in europe, using US tax payer dollar.
I would not threaten leaving NATO providing a positive Russia and a negative for free nations of the world.
