Trump is right on Ukraine

Here is a recent history lesson on both Ukraine and Russia. I learned a few things from it. Article worth checking out.

Opinion - Sadly, Trump is right on Ukraine

First of all, your link starts with the word "OPINION" and that should have given you pause before you wrote up the OP. You should have done research on it before putting up something that is so totally wrong, as far as data, statistics and facts

Russia’s history of violating ceasefire agreements in Ukraine

Russia invaded Ukraine's east with the use of proxies and annexed Crimea in 2014, Moscow violated multiple ceasefire deals 25 times, President Volodymyr Zelensky said during a meeting with Trump in the Oval Office on Feb. 28.

Addressing your link directly, here is what actually happened.

Ukraine was forced to sign a Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, or Minsk II, which was signed on 12 February 2015. This agreement consisted of a package of measures, including a ceasefire, withdrawal of heavy weapons from the front line, release of prisoners of war, constitutional reform in Ukraine granting self-government to certain areas of Donbas and restoring control of the state border to the Ukrainian government. While fighting subsided following the agreement's signing, it never ended completely, and the agreement's provisions were never fully implemented. The former German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier suggested a mechanism of granting an autonomy to Eastern Donbas only after "the OSCE certified that the local elections had followed international standards", called the Steinmeier formula.

Amid rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine in early 2022, Russia officially recognized the DPR and LPR on 21 February 2022. Following that decision, on 22 February 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that the Minsk agreements "no longer existed", and that Ukraine, not Russia, was to blame for their collapse. Russia then launched a full invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022.

He presented a whole bunch of facts and then offered his opinion on those facts. The facts are not opinions.

Ukraine broke agreements. Both sides broke agreements. And, some of it has nothing to do with "agreements". If you purposely poke someone like Putin in a number of ways, what do you really expect will be the end result?

I know, bullied people should also kowtow to the bully. That is standard procedure, right?

I think that if the bully isn't paying attention to someone, that someone shouldn't poke the bully. funny huh? why is the US involved anyway? since 1994.

Thank God Joe the idiot Biden is no longer in government F'ing things up. What a fiasco. Will Ukraine pay us back the $200+ BILLION??

Poking? does poking mean protecting your property against someone trying to invade it?

I mean, was Russia ever at risk of an invasion by Ukraine?
Poking Putin is what they did before Russia invaded.
