President Trump has donated his quarterly paycheck to efforts to contain the COVID-19 coronavirus.

White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham said Tuesday that Trump sent his $100,000 in pay to the Department of Health and Human Services.

Trump “is donating his 2019 Q4 salary to @HHSGov to support the efforts being undertaken to confront, contain, and combat #Coronavirus,” Grisham tweeted.

Trump is the third president to refuse a salary, following Herbert Hoover and John F. Kennedy. His quarterly gifts to the Treasury Department double as a messaging opportunity to highlight his initiatives.
It's a hoax, remember.
What is a hoax?

She is. Changes her lines now and then but makes the board suffer with her parroting of them in between changing them.
She's a lazy doltish poster.

Classless PR stunt.

The mentally ill criminal who stole millions from charity is awarded no points.

You know, while it sounds good for Trump to donate his check as president to various agencies, and it's good PR, there is something else I'd like to know...........

How much money has Trump made at his various properties that he has forced military to stay at, as well as all the money that is spent whenever he goes golfing at his resorts?

He should let the SS and military stay at his resorts for free if he's such a great guy.

I’m sure he’ll be impeached for it.

He shouldn't have done that. It is all going to go into George Soros pocket, since he owns Big pharma. He should have bought $100,000 worth of Non GMO vitamin C from one of these nutraceutical companies, and given it to these patients to overdose on.

At Zhongnan Hospital in Wuhan, China, 24,000 mg of vitamin C will be administered to coronavirus patients, intravenously, each day for 7 days.

To fight a dangerous virus for which there is no existing medical treatment, you must rely on your own immune system. It is well established, in every nutrition textbook ever written, that you need vitamin C to make your immune system work well, or to even work at all. Inadequate vitamin C intake is a worldwide problem that can be immediately and economically fixed. With even modest amounts of supplemental vitamin C, deaths will decrease. In one study, a mere 200 mg of vitamin C/day resulted in an 80% decrease in deaths among severely ill, hospitalized respiratory disease patients.

I guarantee none of the people complaining about this donation have given a nickel.

But then, they're people who believe the only true generosity is voting for people who promise to take other people's money to give it to those who didn't earn it.

It's my understanding that the Secret Service and the military don't pay the full rate when they do stay at a Trump property. Would you rather they stayed elsewhere and the taxpayers paid more? I'm guessing the answer to that is a resounding YES...which says far more about YOU then it does about Trump!

Who's budget did Trump cut? Didn't you get the memo...their budget was actually increased. Try and keep up, Crepitus! You're relying on bullshit talking points that were shown to be incorrect days ago!

It's my understanding that the Secret Service and the military don't pay the full rate when they do stay at a Trump property.
Well, then you might be surprised to learn that not only do they pay more than normal guests, they pay the maximum allowed by the government for their hotel rooms.

Who's budget did Trump cut? Didn't you get the memo...their budget was actually increased.
Right. Trump proposed a 16% cut, then congress ignored him and increased the CDCs budget in the budget they passed. Then, as Trump does with anything set in front of him, he signed it.
